I’m the daughter of Mexican immigrants, born and raised in California. As a First-Gen individual, I understand the unique challenges that come with navigating personal growth and healing when your parents didn’t have the chance to explore these aspects in their own lives. My mission is to offer you education, tools, and a safe space for inner healing to help you reach your goals and break unhealthy generational patterns.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

We will talk about what brings you to therapy, about your goals, I'll answer any questions you might have and give you an idea of what working with me would look like. I'll gather some information and we could see if we are a good fit to work together.

What treatment methods and tools do you utilize?

I mostly practice from a humanistic approach and believe that each human is a collection of experiences that has shaped them into who they are today. Therapy is meant to be about you and your experiences, and I work with you to incorporate interventions, modalities, and help you identify goals personalized to you. I utilize techniques from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Mindfulness Techniques, and Reparenting/Inner Child work.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

I have experience working with children, adolescents, adults and families as they work through a wide range of issues including traumatic experiences, first-generation experiences, grief, depression, and anxiety. Currently, I work with first-generation in mental health, which I like to define as one who is part of the first generation in their family (or continuing the work of those who started before them) to actively pursue their own healing, feel their emotion, and/or break unhealthy generational patterns that have been passed down for generations. [Currently Providing: Individual Therapy for Adults (18 and older)]

Describe the client(s) you are best positioned to serve.

I value cultural understanding, empowerment, and self-care, recognizing the importance of respecting diverse backgrounds and prioritizing personal well-being. I’m dedicated to fostering inner healing, helping clients break free from unhealthy generational patterns and past traumas. I encourage authenticity and growth, supporting individuals in embracing their true selves and making choices aligned with their values and goals. Compassion and empathy are central to my approach, as I strive to provide a safe and non-judgmental space for exploration and self-discovery. Maybe your parents did not have this opportunity in healing, but you deserve the space to explore yours. Together we can not only just survive but also be present while you thrive.
