Hi! I'm a Licensed Professional Counsellor (LPC) based in Texas. I received my Masters from the University of Texas Pan American and have been practicing for 7 years; I do have over 20 years of counseling experience prior to opening my own practice. I help young adults struggling with anxiety and/or depression rediscover their greatness within it can be through talk therapy or through expressive art work.
First session
In our first session together, we'll start with brief introductions, then dive into the specific challenges you're facing. This will help me create a tailored plan for us to work through in follow-up sessions. I am also willing to answer any additional questions you may be want to ask me in order to create a safe working relationship with you.
Strengths
One of my greatest strengths as a provider is having the ability to make someone feel safe and comfortable rather quickly. My non judgmental approach comes from the idea that we are all the same and want the same. We all seek inner peace.
Ideal clients
I work best with adolescents and adults seeking greater self-awareness, emotional healing, and personal growth. Many of my clients struggle with anxiety, stress, life transitions, self-esteem, relationship challenges, or feeling disconnected from themselves. Together, we build practical coping skills, strengthen resilience, and develop healthier patterns. I provide a compassionate, supportive space where clients can gain clarity, discover their strengths, and create meaningful, lasting change aligned with their values and purpose.
Treatment methods
Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
Cognitive Therapy provides a structured, clear, and empowering approach to identifying and understanding the link between negative beliefs and the automatically accepted thoughts they produce.
Internal Family Systems (IFS)
I trained under art therapist Lucia Capacchione and am certified in Creative Journal Expressive Arts. This type of work dives into inner child and inner family work.
