Life can get messy, overwhelming, and so hard sometimes—and that’s okay! The realities of life are rarely easy, but you can develop ways to go about your life without having to suffer. For the past 9 years, I’ve been helping adults who feel stuck in anxiety, trauma, and relationship struggles find their footing again. We’ll explore what’s going on in your life, figure out what matters most, and find practical, realistic ways to help you feel more grounded and overcome your challenges. I’m here to listen, offer options, and support you as you create a life that feels more manageable and meaningful—always with warmth, compassion, and a little humor when you need it.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

First sessions can sometimes feel intimidating! My goal is to ease any concerns you may have about starting this process. Our first session is all about me getting to know you and you learning what you can expect from me. I will ask questions to help me better understand you, your strengths, your challenges, and what your goals are for therapy. You will also be able to ask me questions, and I will explain my style of therapy. Additionally, we will explore expectations for each of us throughout your therapy process. It's important that you and I both believe I will be the right fit for you as a clinician.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

Using a holistic approach involving tools from CBT, ACT, EMDR, and mindfulness, I tailor my methods to fit your unique goals in a way that is realistic, supportive, and reflective of your values. I am also a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional and certified in Financial Social Work to support you in navigating challenges in these areas. I strive to make therapy a fulfilling and transformative experience where you feel seen, supported, and empowered to take meaningful steps toward a life that feels authentic and aligned with what matters most to you. During our work together, I provide options and strategies to help with immediate distress, while also focusing on addressing the root issues—past experiences, values, motivations, behaviors, and relationships—that may be contributing to your distress. With this dual approach, you have the opportunity to make lasting change and heal from your challenging experiences.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

I enjoy working with individual adults who are ready to make meaningful changes because they’ve realized their current ways of coping aren’t working for them anymore. Many of the people I support are young professionals, those in high-stress careers, and individuals navigating challenging relationships. If you have never been in therapy before or you are looking for a fresh perspective, I may be a great fit! Those I support are often juggling a lot and looking for healthier, more sustainable ways to manage life’s pressures and heal from difficult and traumatic experiences. If you’re feeling stuck or overwhelmed but are ready to try something different, I’m here to help you find a path that fits your unique needs and goals. Please Note: I do not work with couples, families, or people struggling with active eating disorders or personality disorders.

My treatment methods

Acceptance and commitment (ACT)

I use ACT to help you make room for difficult thoughts and feelings, while staying focused on what truly matters to you. ACT provides tools for building flexibility and compassion, and I combine it with other approaches to support healing in a way that fits your specific needs. We’ll focus on making small, meaningful steps since ACT is not about “fixing” your emotions but rather learning to accept them as a part of your experience.

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy to help you notice how your thoughts, feelings, and behaviors are connected. Together, we can explore patterns that might be keeping you stuck and practice new ways of thinking and responding that feel more helpful. I blend CBT with other tools to make sure it fits your goals and feels approachable, not one-size-fits-all.

EMDR

I use EMDR to help you process and heal from difficult and traumatic experiences in a safe, supportive way. EMDR can be used alone, or I might incorporate it alongside other therapies to support your overall goals. EMDR can be a powerful tool for reducing the emotional charge of painful memories so you can move forward with more ease.

Strength-Based

I take a strength-based approach by helping you recognize and build on the resilience, skills, and values you already have. We will focus on what’s working and how you can use those strengths to navigate challenges and create the change you want to see. My goal is to help you feel empowered and supported as you overcome life’s challenges.

Trauma Informed Care

My approach is trauma-informed, which means I always prioritize safety, choice, and collaboration in the therapy space. I’m mindful of how past experiences can shape the way we respond to the present, and I operate with compassion and curiosity rather than judgement. We will move at a pace that feels right for you, honoring your needs and strengths along the way.
