Hello, I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, graduating from Liberty University in VA. I have been practicing for 10 years. I have served all individuals from veterans coming home with PTSD, family's dealing with family member loss and or addiction, to individuals with mood disorders, and finally, I have served the younger population from pre-k to adolescents with various trauma and diagnosis.
First sessions offer an opportunity for myself and the client to get acquainted and address specific issues that brought the individual to therapy and what they hope to accomplish through therapy. A treatment plan will be developed to allow for more targeted focus of care.
My hope is to utilize the knowledge over the years working with individuals to help with developing a plan that allows the individual to push themself in a way where the client feels they are growing toward their own best self. With therapist acting as a guide, that moves along side the growing client.
I enjoy working with young children and adolescents that have challenges with social and neurodivergent issues. I have much experience with adults with neurodivergent issues and mood disorders, specifically Bipolar II disorder. I enjoy helping families come together to better understand one another and become a healthier family unit.
