I believe that everyone deserves a safe, non-judgmental space to explore what's going on in their lives and to feel understood. We can work together to discover your patterns, navigate your thoughts and feelings, and move towards loving all of your parts. Making the decision to start, or continue therapy is the first step in choosing yourself. You deserve to have at least one area in your life that is just about you.
We will go over you history, what brought you to therapy, your past experiences, any current symptoms, and your goals or expectations for the therapeutic process.
I use an eclectic approach to tailor sessions to each individual client. Every person is unique and will respond differently to different approaches. I try to create understanding and warmth to create a safe space for clients to be able to express themselves and get to know what's going on. Because I have also gone on my own healing journey, I feel I can understand what my clients are going through, and the steps they can take to make progress.
CBT can help to increase understanding how your thoughts, feelings and behaviors are all connected.
IFS helps to get to know the different protective and wounded inner parts, which helps contribute to healing.
SFBT incorporates positive psychology to facilitate change by coming up with solutions instead of focusing on issues.
