I hold the philosophy that everyone has the tools within themselves to reach their goals, especially when given the right opportunity and support. Therapy can be an opportunity to find balance by getting in touch with who you are and providing direction for where you want to go. I believe in working collaboratively using a strengths-based approach as I take the time to understand my clients and their unique needs and goals. My role is to create a safe, supportive space where you can share your story, explore and work through challenges, and discover practical tools and strategies for healing, growth, and your overall well-being.
I recognize that opening up to someone can be challenging, which is why I focus on building a trusting therapeutic relationship and providing a safe environment to explore and process life's experiences and emotions. I may have skills to offer and insights to share, but you are the expert on your life and what you would like out of therapy. In our first session, my priority is to create a safe and welcoming space where you feel heard and supported. Together, we’ll explore what brought you to therapy and talk about the kind of support that feels most meaningful to you.
I wholeheartedly believe that all of my clients are doing the best that they can in every given moment, even when they cannot see it themselves. I use a warm and friendly approach to help clients to identify their strengths and to support them as they work toward their goals. I welcome feedback, allowing clients to make this experience their own, and to work at their own pace so that they can best balance life’s changes and challenges. My mission is to inspire hope and self-confidence while empowering clients to optimize their potential as they bring the skills that they develop along their therapeutic journey into their daily lives.
My ideal client is someone who would like to take a step toward change, even if they’re not sure what that change looks like yet. They may be struggling with anxiety, depression, life transitions, past trauma, or relationship challenges, and are looking for a safe space to sort through their experiences. My clients often want to feel more grounded, connected, and confident, but aren’t sure how to get there on their own. They value a collaborative, supportive approach where their voice matters and their strengths are recognized. In our work together, we explore patterns, build coping tools, and create space for growth so they can move toward a clearer, more empowered version of themselves.
Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) helps clients increase psychological flexibility by accepting difficult emotions, staying present, and committing to values-based action. Rather than eliminating distress, ACT teaches clients to observe thoughts without judgment and take meaningful steps aligned with their values.
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) focuses on identifying and challenging unhelpful thought patterns to change emotional responses and behaviors. Clients learn to recognize cognitive distortions, develop more balanced thinking, and practice adaptive coping strategies.
Integrative therapy helps the client by offering a personalized, whole-person approach to healing. Instead of relying on a single modality, it draws from multiple evidence-based practices—like CBT, ACT, mindfulness, and somatic therapies—to meet the client’s unique emotional, relational, and spiritual needs. This flexibility allows the client to pace and sequence interventions based on their readiness, promoting emotional safety and reducing overwhelm. It empowers them to reclaim agency, build resilience, and move toward lasting well-being in a way that feels authentic and sustainable.
Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT) helps clients by emphasizing what’s working rather than what's broken. It’s a forward-looking, strengths-based approach that supports individuals in identifying small, achievable steps toward their preferred future. SFBT assumes the client already has the internal resources to cope and grow when given the right support to help uncover and build on those strengths. Clients articulate what life would look like if the problem were resolved or more manageable, which fosters hope and direction.
Trauma-informed care is an approach that recognizes the widespread impact of trauma and prioritizes emotional safety, trust, and empowerment in every aspect of the therapeutic relationship. Rather than focusing solely on symptoms, it considers how trauma may shape a person’s nervous system, worldview, and relational patterns. Trauma-informed care helps clients feel seen, respected, and in control of their healing process.
