New to Grow
I specialize in working with adults navigating anxiety, life transitions, relationship or intimacy concerns, grief, trauma, and the pressure to “have it all together” while feeling anything but. Therapy with me is a place to be fully yourself, without judgment. I offer a compassionate, supportive space where vulnerability is honored and your voice is heard. Together, we’ll explore the patterns and beliefs that may be holding you back and help you reconnect with your values, strength, clarity, and sense of possibility.
Our first session will gently explore who you are and what brought you to this point in your therapy journey. Together, we’ll talk about your past, present, and future, and begin shaping the goals that feel most meaningful to you.
Beginning my practice during the Covid-19 pandemic allowed me to connect with a wide range of people navigating uncertainty, change, and major life transitions. Since then, I’ve been fortunate to shape my work around helping adults move through life’s challenges in a way that feels collaborative, steady, and supportive. I take a person-centered approach; meeting clients exactly where they are, honoring their comfort level, and helping them use their strengths to move closer to the goals that matter most to them.
We may be a good fit if you’re looking for someone who is direct yet laid-back, prioritizes creating a safe space above all else, and meets you where you are.
I use CBT to help clients identify the connection between their thoughts and behaviors. Together we identify and challenge thinking patterns that feed into behaviors that may not be serving us well. We develop practical skills that increase insight, challenge thinking errors, and promote healthier daily functioning. The work is structured, goal-oriented, and rooted in building long-term resilience.
In ACT, I guide clients in developing greater emotional and cognitive adaptability by learning to notice, accept, and make room for difficult thoughts and emotions. I help them connect with their core values and take committed action toward meaningful change. This approach supports clients in responding to life with greater intention rather than avoidance.
My trauma-informed approach prioritizes safety, empowerment, engagement and choice in every session. I remain attuned to how past trauma may influence present patterns and tailor interventions to avoid re-traumatization. Clients are met with compassion, transparency, and collaboration to foster trust and healing.
I use MI to help clients explore ambivalence and clarify their internal motivations for change. Through reflective listening, guided questions, and affirmation of strengths, I support clients in discovering their own reasons for growth. This approach increases autonomy and builds momentum toward sustainable progress.
