New to Grow
As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, I am committed to creating a compassionate, supportive, and nonjudgmental space where clients feel safe to explore their experiences and work towards meaningful personal growth. I specialize in working with new mothers, young adults, and individuals processing trauma. My hope is to help you build self-awareness, better understand thought patterns, emotions, and relationships, and navigate life's challenges with greater confidence and resilience. My approach is trauma-informed, attachment-based, and grounded in evidence-based practices. I believe healing begins with feeling heard and understood. We will work together to explore the impact of life experiences, process emotions, and develop practical tools that support lasting change. I strive to provide an empathetic and collaborative therapeutic relationship that empowers you to move toward the life you want to create.
In our first session, my goal is to get to know you- who you are and what brings you here! We will talk about your hopes and goals and begin to lay the foundation for our work together. The first therapy session can be intimidating- I hope to create a safe space that allows you to show up as yourself and share what you feel comfortable sharing. We will go over logistics, some clinical assessments, and spend time getting to know each other.
My approach supports clients in building self awareness. You call the shots, this is your experience and your goals. After checking with you, I will offer feedback, point out patterns and challenge thought patterns. I provide an empathetic and encouraging space, helping you identify and build upon your existing strengths.
My ideal client is someone who is dedicated, curious, and navigating life' changes. I work will with individuals who are are curious about themselves,, processing relationships and exploring a new way of thinking. I am drawn to clients who are committed to increasing self awareness, exploring boundaries in relationships and processing complex emotions. I work especially well with new mothers, young adults navigating life and relationship transitions, and individuals processing past traumas.
Other specialties
I identify as
Attachment-based
Attachment-based work provides a foundation for my practice as you explore themes of trust, relationships, and emotional regulation.
Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
TF-CBT provides you with the tools and knowledge to recognize how your thoughts, behaviors, and actions all interact while processing and learning in a trauma informed and focused space. This is a modality I use in my practice regularly to support individuals in processing past experiences while learning the tools to best manage relationships, anxieties, and narratives.
Trauma Informed Care
The Trauma Informed Care framework provides a base for your therapeutic work. Shifting the focus from "you" to "your experiences" and how they have shaped thoughts and actions. Therapy can be a vulnerable space where hard work happens, providing trauma informed care and allowing you to set the pace is an important step in the process.
Motivational Interviewing
Ambivalence and anxiety around decisions and patterns can be normal, and frustrating. Motivational Interviewing is a modality I have been using for a number of years to support clients in collaborative goal-centered therapy to help[ you reach your goals.
