New to Grow
I am an independently licensed social worker who has been in the mental health field since 2020, including my internship experience. I earned my Bachelor of Social Work in 2021 and obtained my Licensed Social Worker (LSW) credential upon graduation. I then completed my Master of Social Work in an accelerated one-year program and later obtained my independent licensure. I am incredibly proud of my journey and the experiences that have shaped me both personally and professionally. Many people describe me as down-to-earth, approachable, and genuine. I recognize that every individual is different, and while some clients appreciate a more relaxed and authentic therapeutic style, others may prefer a different approach. Because of this, I encourage individuals to consider whether my style feels like a good fit for their needs and goals. Outside of my professional role, I am a proud dog mom who enjoys warm weather, spending time with friends and family, and staying active through fitness and exercise. I believe in the importance of balance, self-care, and creating meaningful connections both in and outside of therapy.
I will introduce my self, ask how you are, what you are looking to get out of services and then further discuss more on how more my style of therapy is.
I provide a lot of validation, active listening, and normalization to clients with many various topics, in which does sound very common but have come to find not everyone gets that and so do find that a strength about me.
I usually get along well with any ages, but have come to find that I am best able to serve individuals 18 and up. An I saw that because as much as I love kids I have come to find that it is harder to keep them engaged and also continue progress if not practiced in the home as well. That all being said I am open to all individuals but prefer 18 +
