I'm a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 10 years of experience working as a counselor. In addition, I have experience working with children, adolescent, and adult clients with a wide range of emotional and behavioral issues including depression, anxiety, Attention-Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder, anger management and relationship issues, as well as addiction, trauma, and family conflict. My therapy style is warm, sensitive, and compassionate, and I believe all individuals are to be treated as equals. My treatment approach combines Cognitive-Behavioral, Solution-Focused, Acceptance and Commitment, and Psychodynamic Therapy. Outside of behavioral health care and in my free time, I enjoy spending time with family and friends, reading, traveling, and exercising.
During our first session, you can expect me to meet you with a warm, empathetic, and nonjudgemental approach. I will be asking you some questions in order to gain more insight about your background history and mental health needs. My goal is to learn more about you in order to best serve you and help you with your mental health journey.
I like to focus on my client's strengths during treatment with an emphasis on how they can use them to implement coping techniques and improve their overall quality of life and wellbeing.
I am best positioned to serve adult clients who are motivated and willing to treatment goals.
Acceptance and commitment (ACT)
I help offer clients notice and accept difficult thoughts and emotions without judgement. I then guide them using different treatment modalities to take meaningful actions aligned with their personal values.
