LCSW, 5 years of experience
Hi there! You’ve come to the right place if you’re feeling stuck, tired of repeating the same old patterns in your life or relationships, or longing for something deeper, a happier, more meaningful life. Maybe you’ve tried changing before and felt afraid or unsure of how to move forward. I see you, and you’re not alone. I’m new to Grow, but I bring years of experience as a therapist working with individuals from all walks of life; different ages, backgrounds, and diagnoses. Clients often describe me as down-to-earth, approachable, and supportive, while also challenging them to see things in new ways. I became a therapist because I believe everyone deserves the chance to create the life they want, and no one should feel like they have to do it alone. In our sessions, you’ll find a warm and collaborative space. I’ll meet you where you are, help you uncover what truly matters to you, and start making real change right away. You’ll leave our first meeting with practical tools you can begin using immediately, and daily “homework” to keep the progress going.
In our first session, we’ll spend time getting to know each other and talking about what brought you to therapy. I’ll invite you to share what’s been most challenging and what you’d like your life to look like moving forward. I believe in starting the work right away, so you’ll leave our first session with practical tools you can begin using immediately. I also like to give my clients “homework” each day, simple, intentional steps to help you practice what we talk about in session and move closer to the healthier, happier, and more meaningful life you’re looking for.
As a provider, my greatest strength is my ability to create a safe, compassionate, and nonjudgmental space where clients feel truly heard and supported. I excel at helping individuals identify their core values and goals, guiding them toward meaningful change with a collaborative and client-centered approach.
I work best with clients who feel stuck and know deep down that they want something different for their lives. Many of the people I support are tired of repeating the same patterns in relationships, struggling with depression, or feeling too scared to make a change—even though they long for a healthier, happier, and more meaningful life. My clients are often at a turning point: ready to let go of what no longer works, explore what matters most to them, and take steps toward building the kind of relationships and life they truly want.
As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and experienced therapist, I integrate Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) into my practice to support clients in aligning their actions with their core values while fostering psychological flexibility. ACT’s focus on mindfulness, acceptance, and commitment aligns seamlessly with my approach to empowering clients to live meaningful and value-driven lives, despite the challenges they face.
I use an attachment-based approach in my practice to help clients understand how early relational experiences influence their current emotional patterns, behaviors, and relationships. By exploring attachment dynamics, I support clients in identifying unmet needs and developing healthier ways to connect with others. This approach fosters a sense of safety and trust, empowering clients to build stronger, more secure relationships while healing from past wounds.
I use Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) to help clients process and resolve distressing memories and trauma. By using bilateral stimulation, such as eye movements or tapping, I guide clients in reprocessing painful experiences, reducing their emotional intensity, and reframing negative beliefs. This method allows clients to move toward healing and resilience, freeing them from the grip of past events and improving their overall well-being.
