New to Grow
Hi, I’m Lauryn. I know reaching out for therapy can feel overwhelming, but you don’t have to this alone. My goal is to create a space where you feel comfortable being yourself, messy parts, hard feelings, and all. I believe therapy should feel supportive, down to earth, and free of judgement. I work with individuals navigating big changes, managing stress, anxiety, or past experiences that feel hard to shake. I also support pregnant and parenting moms who are juggling the demands of caring for a family while trying to care for themselves. My approach is warm, relatable, and real. I’ll meet you where you are at and walk alongside you as you work toward healing and growth. I draw from EMDR, CBT, DBT, and perinatal mental health trainings, but I’ll always tailor our work to what feels right and helpful to you. Whether you are looking to build coping skills, process trauma, or simply have a space that is just yours, I am here to help. Together, we can sort through he hard stuff, uncover your strengths, and create meaningful changes that last. Therapy isn’t about fixing you, its about supporting you in feeling more grounded, confident and connected to yourself and the life you want to live. If this sounds like the kind of support you are looking for, I would love to connect.
In your first session, we’ll take time to get to know each other and understand what brings you to therapy. You can expect a safe, judgment free space to share what’s on your mind, our challenges, and your goals. I’ll ask questions to get a clear picture of your experiences, and together we’ll start identifying what changes you’d like to see. We will also talk about how therapy works, what approaches I use, and how we can tailor our sessions to fit your needs. By the end of the session, you’ll have a sense of the process, a plan for moving forward, and a space where you feel heard and supported. The first session is all about building trust, clarifying your goals, and starting your journey toward growth and healing at a pace that feels comfortable for you.
What stands out about me is my warm, relatable, and down to earth approach. I meet clients where they are, without judgement, and create a space that feels safe, supportive, and real. I combine evidence based methods like EMDR and CBT with a focus on practical, strengths based strategies, helping you tap into your own resilience and resources. My approach isn’t a one size fits all. It is tailored to your unique experiences, goals, and needs. I work collaboratively with clients to identify what matters most to them and provide tools to manage stress, process difficult experiences, and improve relationships. Clients often notice that therapy with me feels empowering. They gain clarity, build confidence, and develop practical coping skills that translate into real life changes. whether it’s navigating anxiety, trauma, life transitions, or parenting challenges, my goal is to help you feel heard, understood, and equipped to move forward with greater self awareness and confidence.
I work best with people who are ready to make changes but may feel stuck, overwhelmed, or uncertain about how to move forward. I am here for those who want a safe, judgement free space to process anxiety, stress, or past experiences that keep them from feeling their best. I support pregnant and parenting moms navigating the challenges of balancing self care with caring for others. My clients are often motivated to grow, heal, and build confidence, but need guidance, practical tools, and support along the way. Together, we can work toward goals like managing stress, improving relationships, processing trauma, and strengthening coping skills. My approach is always tailored to your needs. I’ll help you uncover strengths, navigate challenges, and create meaningful, lasting change. If you are already to feel heard, supported, and empowered to take the next step in your life, I am here to walk with you.
I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) in a down-to-earth way, helping clients notice patterns in their thoughts and feelings, understand where they come from, and practice new strategies that make life feel a little lighter and more manageable.
With EMDR, I support clients in processing painful experiences in a safe way, so the past doesn’t keep showing up in the present.
I bring Positive Psychology into sessions to highlight strengths, spark hope, and remind clients of their ability to thrive.
I use strength-based work to remind clients that they already carry the tools within them to create change
