Hi there! I’m a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) dedicated to helping individuals, couples, and families navigate life’s challenges and build stronger, healthier relationships. I work with people who are tired of feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or caught in the same cycles especially those who are high-functioning, insightful, and self-aware, yet still feeling disconnected from themselves, their partners, or the life they’re trying to build. Whether you’re working through emotional stress, communication breakdowns, intimacy concerns, or burnout, my goal is to help you get to the root of what’s really going on not just the surface-level issues. I focus on helping clients understand their emotional and behavioral patterns so they can create supportive, balanced environments at home, at work, and in their relationships that truly reflect their needs. My approach is warm, collaborative, culturally responsive, and grounded in evidence-based therapy, with space for deeper self-reflection. I prioritize making sure you feel valued, understood, and supported throughout the process. Together, we build insight, strengthen communication, and develop tools you can actually use in real life. The work we do is about lasting growth, more clarity, more confidence, deeper connection, and relationships that feel healthier, more aligned, and more you.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

Our first session is about making sure you feel comfortable, seen, and clear on why you’re here. We’ll start with what brought you in and what’s feeling heavy or stuck right now; no pressure to share everything all at once. I’ll ask thoughtful questions to understand your relationships, history, and the patterns showing up in your life, not to judge, but to get the full picture. Then you'll be able to see if Id be a good fit to support you in your healing journey.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

What stands out about my approach is that I don’t do cookie-cutter therapy or surface-level fixes. I work relationally and systemically, helping clients see the full picture of how their history, relationships, culture, and lived experiences shape how they move through the world. My style is warm, direct, and collaborative. I’ll hold space and tell the truth. Clients often say they leave sessions with more clarity, emotional relief, and language for things they’ve felt but couldn’t name. Over time, the work shows up as stronger boundaries, better communication, deeper intimacy, and a sense of moving differently; more confident, and more aligned in their relationships and everyday life.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

I’m especially passionate about working with Black women, and the BIPOC community to address the unique mental health challenges we face. I provide a safe and affirming space where we can explore issues around identity, mental health, and personal growth in ways that honor your lived experiences and cultural background. My practice is inclusive and judgment-free, welcoming clients in traditional, non-traditional relationships, as well as those exploring their sexuality, intimacy or sex practices. I believe everyone deserves a space where they can openly discuss these important parts of life while feeling fully seen and accepted.

My treatment methods

Integrative

I tailor therapy to fit your unique needs, drawing from different approaches like CBT, solution-focused, Jungian, and holistic methods. We work together to explore your thoughts, emotions, body sensations, and life experiences to create practical strategies, build insight, and support lasting change.

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I help clients notice how their thoughts affect their feelings and actions. Together, we identify unhelpful patterns and develop practical ways to cope, manage stress, and respond differently. I combine this with mindfulness and body-awareness techniques so changes feel real, not just in your head.

Solution Focused Brief Treatment

I focus on what’s working in your life and what you want to achieve. We set clear goals and take small, realistic steps toward them, building on your strengths and resources. This approach helps create forward momentum while respecting your experiences and background.
