In our first session, we’ll begin by exploring what brings you to therapy and what feels most important in your life right now. I’ll invite you to share your story at your own pace as we begin to understand the patterns, choices, and meanings shaping your experience. Whether we’re meeting individually, as a couple, or as a family, the focus is on creating a space for honesty, reflection, curiosity, and genuine connection. Together, we’ll start to uncover not just what’s painful or uncertain, but also what feels most vital, life-giving, and worth moving toward—laying the foundation for meaningful change, deeper awareness, and personal growth within yourself and your relationships.
Mark’s greatest strengths lie in his ability to integrate deep systemic understanding with an existential focus on meaning, responsibility, and growth. He creates a thoughtful and grounded therapeutic space where individuals, couples, and families can discover relief from distress, strengthen connection, and move toward more purposeful and authentic living.
I work with individuals, couples, and families who are seeking greater understanding, connection, and purpose in their relationships and lives. Drawing from existential therapy, as well as structural and contextual family therapy, I help clients explore the meanings that guide their choices and relationships. Many experience relief from symptoms such as anxiety, depression, and conflict as they rediscover authenticity, resilience, and a renewed sense of direction.
Existential
I integrate existential therapy into my work by helping clients explore meaning, freedom, and personal responsibility within their relationships and life contexts. Through this process, clients often experience reductions in symptoms such as depression, anxiety, and conflict as they move toward greater authenticity, deeper connection, and alignment with their core values.
Structural Family Therapy
While my work is deeply influenced by structural family therapy and its focus on strengthening family organization and boundaries, I integrate existential therapy by helping clients explore meaning, freedom, and responsibility within their relationships and life circumstances. This combination supports individuals, couples, and families in alleviating symptoms such as depression, anxiety, and conflict while cultivating authenticity, purpose, and deeper emotional connection.
Gestalt
Informed by post-graduate training in structural family therapy with Dr. Harry Aponte and mentorship with Dr. Ivan Nagy in contextual family therapy, I integrate existential therapy by addressing meaning, choice, and responsibility within relational and systemic contexts. This integration facilitates symptom reduction and promotes authenticity, accountability, and purposeful engagement in clients’ lives.
