Welcome! I'm a licensed mental health counselor based in New York. I'm also a Credentialed Alcoholism and Substance Abuse Counselor and Licensed Art Therapist. My practice is primarily psychodynamic while incorporating elements of cognitive and behavioral therapies as needed to assist in restructuring self-defeating patterns. My role is to travel your path with you, to create a space and relationship that is welcoming and safe.

I am a Licensed mental health counselor in New York, with more than 15 years of experience in psychotherapy in various outpatient clinical settings. I continue to work with clients of various ages with a wide range of concerns. My therapy style is warm and interactive and I meet clients where they are at. I believe in treating everyone with respect sensitivity and compassion. My approach combines cognitive, behavioral, art, humanistic, solution focused and rational-emotive therapy. I will tailor our conversations and treatment plan to meet your unique and specific needs and personal goals. I am aware of how difficult it can be to reach out for help. I am a New York State Licensed Mental Health Counselor and Credentialed Alcohol and Substance Abuse Counselor working in the field for the past 15 years. Throughout my career I have worked with individuals of all ages for a variety of reasons. I have experience working as counselor and program manager in an outpatient clinic for substance use which has given me the opportunity to train other therapists. Other experience includes school counseling, outpatient mental health, and inpatient chemical dependency.
