I believe that everyone has inherent strength. While I can be direct and to the point, I understand that this conversation is about your life, not mine. I also believe in the power of laughter and that everyone is capable of leading their best life.
I live in a multi dog/cat/parrot household and odds are good you will not just hear them but may occasionally see them. No worries they don’t judge and have been sworn to HIPAA secrecy.

My approach is flexible and tailored to you, drawing from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), mindfulness-based stress reduction, strength-based work, and humanistic practices. Hello, I'm Amanda. For over 20 years I've walked alongside people through every kind of mental health journey—from crisis moments in psychiatric hospitals to steady, hopeful growth in outpatient settings.
My favorite thing is helping adults rediscover their strength, heal old wounds, and build lives that feel lighter and more joyful. I bring a calm, creative, down-to-earth energy to every conversation.

Modern high-performance demands often leave the nervous system stuck in state of chronic stress, anxiety, or functional burnout. I specialize in somatic and polyvagal-informed therapy designed for executives, founders, and driven professionals who need more than traditional talk therapy. With over 20 years of clinical expertise, my approach integrates body-centered techniques to help you decode physiological stress signals, restore autonomic balance, and process underlying trauma. Together, we move beyond basic coping mechanisms to build sustainable, long-term resilience and grounded clarity.
Do you find it difficult to offer yourself the same kindness, compassion, and grace you would a friend or loved one? Do you have a hard time regulating your emotions and embodying challenging emotions?
I am a digital nomad with a telehealth practice. I believe therapy is a sacred space and I'm honored to share it with you. I practice from a place of authenticity and curiosity. My style is empowering, warm, and humorous. My vibe is casual and light hearted.
It's a heavy and difficult time in the world. I see a lot of hopelessness, helplessness, and burnout. We are collectively having a difficult time thriving in our modern environment. I want to support you in actively choosing hope, even on the days when it feels impossible. You've got this!
I have lived a long and colorful life. Like everyone else, I've made good and bad choices and learned from each. I have 22+ years experience in the mental health and substance abuse treatment field. I DO NOT JUDGE, AT ALL, PERIOD. I can be both blunt and gentle as appropriate. My role is to offer another perspective, a way to see life more fully and function better, no more, no less. I don't pretend to have all the answers but only one slice of wisdom. I just share what can help someone. Some people are not yet ready to be helped. Yet for those who are feeling lost on life's journey and are willing to listen and learn, I'm here to assist. My life work can be summed up in three words, "offering people hope. "
