New to Grow
I’m a mother, a spouse, and a therapist who shows up with warmth, openness, and a whole lot of heart. I’m nurturing by nature and believe people heal best when they feel safe, seen, and not judged. I always bring an open mind, a grounded presence, and a real-life understanding that being human is beautiful, messy, and sometimes a lot.
In our first session, we’ll start slow and keep it real. My goal is to help you feel comfortable, safe, and not like you’re being grilled under a spotlight. We’ll talk about what’s been going on, what you’re hoping to get out of therapy, and what kind of support feels right for you.
My greatest strengths are my warmth, open-mindedness, and the way I truly believe in unconditional positive regard. I do my best to meet clients exactly where they are — without judgment, shame, or the weird clinical vibe nobody asked for. I want people to feel safe, accepted, and supported as they figure out who they are and what they need.
I’m best positioned to serve older children, teens, women, and members of the LGBTQIA+ community who want a safe, affirming space to feel understood, supported, and fully themselves. I work well with clients navigating anxiety, self-esteem, identity, relationships, school stress, life transitions, and the everyday overwhelm of being human. My goal is to help clients feel more grounded, confident, and connected to their own voice.
I identify as
Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
CBT has been really effective in my work because it gives clients something concrete to work with — real, measurable progress they can actually see. I use CBT in my practice by helping clients slow down, notice the connection between their thoughts, feelings, and behaviors, and start questioning the stories their brains are telling them. From there, we work on building healthier patterns through practical tools like thought tracking, coping skills, goal-setting, and small, doable shifts that help clients feel more grounded and empowered in their daily lives.
Mindfulness-Based Therapy
Mindfulness-based therapy has been powerful in my work because it helps clients pause, breathe, and actually notice what’s going on inside without judging themselves for it. I use it by teaching grounding, breathwork, self-compassion, and simple tools that help clients respond to life instead of just reacting to it.
Motivational Interviewing
Motivational interviewing has been effective in my work because it helps clients feel heard instead of pushed, which is kind of the whole magic. I use it by asking thoughtful questions, listening closely, and helping clients connect with their own reasons for change so the motivation comes from them — not from me waving a therapist wand.
