(she/her)
I believe that collaboration and partnership are what yields the best results in therapy and this is reflected in how we talk about goals and what "progress" looks like for each individual client. My aim is to empower clients and bring them closer to what is most important and meaningful to them. I believe that each person is the expert of their own experience. Through the lenses of compassion and resilience-focused approaches, we will build insight to gain a better understanding of your past and present experiences and how these impact your relationships, behaviors, beliefs, and quality of life.
Our first few sessions are focused on getting to know you and your story and learning about what has brought you into therapy.
I truly love what I do and can't imagine myself doing any other kind of work. I have a natural curiosity for the human experience that drives my focus as a therapist. I am motivated to help people learn about themselves and love it when I hear from clients "I never thought I could do that".
I prioritize providing an open and warm environment the facilitates growth and deep exploration. I love to see my clients' personalities come through in session and believe that if I am not showing up authentically, it is difficult for clients to as well. I have 15 years of experience in working with individuals struggling with anxiety, depression, complex trauma and PTSD, mood disorders, ADHD, PMDD, perinatal mental health and women’s health, chronic illness, toxic/dysfunctional relationships, grief and loss, boundaries, assertiveness skills, life transitions, and stress management.
