LCSW, 12 years of experience
New to Grow
With over 11 years of experience, I specialize in working with adult BIPOC and LGBTQIA+ individuals navigating borderline personality disorder, sexual trauma, and chronic illness. My approach weaves mindfulness, compassion, and curiosity to help you explore the experiences that have shaped your sense of self. Together, we’ll work toward integrating the different aspects of who you are, finding balance amid life’s stressors, and nurturing a more grounded and compassionate connection with yourself and others.
I understand that seeking therapy can feel both hopeful and vulnerable. I invite you to take the first step toward healing and growth, and I look forward to supporting you on your journey toward greater balance, empowerment, and wholeness.
I show up to my work with authenticity, meeting clients with warmth and support to foster a sense of trust and safety. I am deeply committed to my role as a therapist and genuinely care about the individuals I work with. My therapeutic approach is holistic, meaning I consider the full context of a person’s experience—their mind, body, and spirit—and how each aspect influences their well-being.
My therapeutic approach is integrative, trauma-informed, and compassion-focused. I draw from mindfulness-based practices, Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and elements of psychodynamic work to support meaningful and lasting change.
Each client who comes in to see me has had some experience in their life which left a deep impact. As their therapist, I meet them where they are by being warm, validating, empathetic, and compassionate. Most importantly, I facilitate an environment where they feel safe to be vulnerable, as trauma can lead to feeling unsafe and distrustful of others.
Every one of us has an internal world which affects our beliefs, emotions, and behaviors. By becoming attuned to this inner world, a client can better understand self and learn to be more accepting of their various parts. In doing so, they experience less inner turmoil.
