New to Grow
I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with advanced training in perinatal mental health and energy psychology. I take a grounded, integrative approach, focusing on practical tools that support healing, growth, and everyday life. I help clients build emotional awareness, clarify what matters most, and make meaningful changes, so they can move forward with greater confidence, self-trust, and direction in their lives.
In our first session together, here's what you can expect
In our first session, we’ll focus on getting to know each other and understanding what brings you to therapy right now. We’ll talk about your goals, what’s feeling most challenging, and what you hope to get out of this space. I’ll ask questions to better understand your history and current stressors, but we’ll move at a pace that feels comfortable for you. Together, we’ll begin clarifying what matters most to you, while also discussing practical next steps and goals for our work. Many clients leave the first session feeling more grounded, clearer about their direction, and reassured about what therapy with me will look like going forward.
The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions
One of my greatest strengths is creating a space that feels comfortable, safe, and supportive from the very first session. I know starting therapy can feel intimidating, so I focus on helping clients feel at ease while offering practical tools they can use in real life. My approach is warm, collaborative, and grounded, blending evidence based therapy with mind body techniques. I’m thoughtful about pacing and always meet you where you are. Clients often share that our work feels approachable and meaningful, helping them build skills for lasting growth, resilience, and connection.
The clients I'm best positioned to serve
My ideal clients are individuals navigating life transitions, relationship challenges, perinatal and family related changes, and emotional overwhelm. You may feel stuck, disconnected, or unsure how to move forward and are looking for practical tools to better understand yourself and create meaningful change. I work well with clients who are open to exploring patterns, building emotional flexibility, and learning skills they can use in everyday life. You’re seeking more than insight alone and want support that feels collaborative, grounded, and focused on real life application. Together, we work toward greater clarity, connection, and sustainable growth.
Acceptance and commitment (ACT)
I use Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) to help clients learn how to navigate difficult thoughts and emotions while still moving toward the life they want. ACT isn’t about forcing positivity or “fixing” everything that feels hard. Instead, it focuses on building awareness, self-compassion, and practical skills so you can stay present, reconnect with what matters to you, and take meaningful steps forward—even when things feel uncomfortable.
Mind-body approach
I use a mind body approach to therapy, meaning we work with both your thoughts and what’s happening in your body. I integrate Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT tapping) and gentle, therapeutic yoga to help calm the nervous system, release stress, and build a greater sense of safety and connection within yourself. EFT tapping is a simple guided practice that can reduce emotional intensity and help shift stuck patterns. Yoga is offered in an accessible and supportive way to help you reconnect with your body and gently move through tension, with no prior experience needed. Together, these tools support grounding, emotional regulation, and self compassion, especially during times of overwhelm or transition. I am a 200 hour trained Yoga Teacher and have advanced EFT training through the Association for Comprehensive Energy Psychology. These trainings inform my integrative approach and allow me to bring practical, evidence informed mind body tools into therapy.
Trauma Informed Care
I practice trauma informed care, meaning your safety, choice, and sense of control always come first. I recognize that past experiences can shape how you relate to yourself, others, and the world, and I approach therapy with compassion, curiosity, and respect for your pace.
Attachment-based
I use an attachment based approach to help clients understand how early relationships and life experiences shape the way they connect with others and with themselves. Together, we explore patterns around closeness, boundaries, trust, and emotional needs, always at a pace that feels safe and supportive. In therapy, we focus on building awareness, strengthening emotional regulation, and developing healthier ways of relating. Our work is collaborative and grounded in compassion, helping you feel more secure, connected, and confident in your relationships.
