(he/they)
I am a dedicated psychotherapist with a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Social Work from Ohio State University, as well as a Doctorate of Social Work from Capella University. I began my career providing direct mental health crisis intervention services and supervision, and I am currently working as a clinical supervisor at a community mental health agency. Since 2020, I’ve been offering outpatient psychotherapy, focusing on creating a safe, inclusive, and affirming space for all clients.
Clients can expect a deeper understanding of themselves, their patterns, and relationships. They will gain tools to manage trauma responses, navigate complex emotions, and build healthier attachments. Clients will also explore and affirm their identities and relationship styles in a nonjudgmental space. Sessions aim to foster self-compassion, empower clients to make choices aligned with their values, and provide strategies for navigating life's challenges with resilience and authenticity.
I find that my greatest strengths lie in my ability to creat a safe, empathetic, and compassionate space for clients to safely practice the vulnerability and openness necessary to work through their issues and make lasting change in their lives.
My expertise includes trauma recovery, codependency, and attachment issues, with experience in diverse relationship styles such as "living apart together," polyamory, and ethical nonmonogamy. As a queer therapist, I provide care to all clients, including competence with queer and trans folks, respecting each person’s unique journey. I’m kink and fetish allied, skilled in addressing intimacy-related challenges, and committed to creating a supportive environment for all identities and experiences.
Attachment-based
I use attachment theory based approaches with my clients to identify and explore their relationship with themselves, with others, and with other aspects of their lives to enhance and empower their ability to navigate life's challenges. I use this approach in addition to cognitive behavioral therapy, grounding, mindfulness, emotions focused therapy, and relational therapy to increase clients' self awareness, identify an process emotions and issues, and empower clients to make meaningful, sustainable change.

He's a very intelligent person with a lot of insight with my issues. He has been very understanding and helpful for me so far. I've only been seeing him for a few weeks now but I feel like I've known him for years.
