My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

Establishing a strong therapeutic alliance is essential to patient outcomes . Cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) is used to help patients identify and challenge negative thought patterns. CBT is extremely beneficial in exploring alternatives to negative thinking patterns and enhancing adaptive coping strategies. The goal with CBT is to create a safe non- judgmental space were you can identify and correct distortive thinking that is directly affecting you're mental well-being. CBT is an excellent treatment method for individuals struggling with depression, anxiety, and trauma.

Motivational Interviewing

Motivational Interviewing (MI) is an excellent way to help patients build the intrinsic motivation necessary to make meaningful changes, enhancing treatment adherence, improving outcomes, and empowering patients to take an active role in their mental health care. MI is a excellent treatment method for patients dealing with alcohol and/ or substance abuse struggling with ambivalence and motivation to change.
