My treatment methods

Dialectical Behavior (DBT)

I utilize DBT to help clients develop mindfulness skills, emotional regulation, distress tolerance, and interpersonal effectiveness, enabling clients to navigate their emotional experiences with greater awareness and resilience.

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I utilize CBT to help clients identify and challenge negative thought patterns, enabling clients to reframe their perspectives and reduce symptoms of anxiety and depression. By integrating these approaches, I assist clients in creating personalized coping skills that address specific symptoms, fostering a greater sense of agency and emotional well-being.

Acceptance and commitment (ACT)

I use acceptance and commitment therapy techniques to help clients navigate their emotional challenges and cultivate a more fulfilling life. ACT encourages individuals to accept their thoughts and feelings rather than fight against them. As the therapist I help clients develop psychological flexibility, which involves being open to experiencing difficult emotions while committing to meaningful actions aligned with with their values. Through mindfulness exercises, clients learn to observe their thoughts without judgement, reducing avoidance behaviors that often lead to increased distress.
