I believe that meaningful change happens when people feel truly seen, heard, and understood. With more than 25 years of experience as a therapist and wellness professional, I bring a compassionate, down-to-earth, and collaborative approach to helping clients navigate life's challenges. Clients often tell me they appreciate my warm, genuine style and my ability to balance empathy with practical guidance. I create a safe, nonjudgmental space where you can explore your thoughts, emotions, relationships, and patterns at your own pace while feeling supported and empowered throughout the process. My work is grounded in the belief that emotional and physical well-being are deeply connected. In addition to my training in social work and psychotherapy, I have specialized training in intuitive eating and functional wellness, which allows me to take a whole-person approach to healing. Whether you are struggling with anxiety, stress, life transitions, relationship concerns, self-worth, emotional eating, or simply feeling disconnected from yourself, I help you uncover the root causes of your challenges while building practical tools for lasting change. I don't believe therapy is about fixing what's wrong with you. Instead, it's about helping you reconnect with your strengths, gain insight into patterns that may be holding you back, and create a life that feels more aligned with who you truly are. We will work through your personalized goals to help you move forward with greater clarity, confidence, and intention. I believe true health is not built through perfection or extremes, but through sustainable habits, self-awareness, and learning how to work with your body instead of against it. My goal is to create a supportive, nonjudgmental space where clients feel understood, empowered, and capable of building a healthier, more balanced life that genuinely feels good to maintain.

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

Our first session is focused on understanding you as a whole person—not just your goals, but your experiences, patterns, challenges, lifestyle, stressors, and what may be getting in the way of the changes you want to make. Together, we begin identifying where you feel stuck, what you truly want for yourself, and what a realistic, sustainable path forward can look like. Clients often leave the first session feeling more clear, grounded, hopeful, and understood. My intention is to help you feel supported while also creating momentum toward meaningful change from the very beginning.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

One of my greatest strengths is my ability to help clients create change in a way that feels realistic, compassionate, and sustainable. I combine accountability with warmth and support, helping women move beyond all-or-nothing thinking and develop habits that fit their real lives. I also bring a highly personalized approach to each session. I understand that every woman’s relationship with health, stress, and self-care, and relationships is different, which is why I focus on helping clients build self-awareness, confidence, consistency, and trust in themselves—not just temporary motivation. Clients often appreciate my ability to balance emotional insight with practical strategies, creating sessions that feel both supportive and empowering.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

I work best with adults who are ready to take an honest look at their lives and make meaningful, sustainable changes. Whether you're struggling with anxiety, stress, relationship concerns, emotional eating, life transitions, or feeling disconnected from yourself, I provide a supportive space to help you gain insight, develop practical tools, and move forward with greater confidence and clarity. My clients are often seeking more than symptom relief—they want to feel more present, balanced, and aligned with their values. Together, we work toward creating lasting change that supports emotional well-being, healthier relationships, and a more fulfilling life.

My treatment methods

Person-centered (Rogerian)

At the heart of my work is the belief that every person has the capacity for growth, healing, and self-discovery. Using a person-centered approach, I provide a warm, nonjudgmental, and supportive environment where clients feel heard, understood, and accepted. I strive to build a genuine therapeutic relationship based on empathy, authenticity, and respect. Rather than directing the process, I work collaboratively with clients, trusting their inner wisdom while helping them gain clarity, confidence, and insight. This approach empowers clients to connect more deeply with themselves, make choices that align with their values, and create meaningful change at their own pace. How It Fits Into My Practice While I draw from several evidence-based treatment approaches, the foundation of my work is person-centered. I believe that meaningful change happens when clients feel safe, supported, and truly understood. From this foundation, I integrate CBT, psychodynamic, interpersonal, strength-based, positive psychology, mind-body, and wellness-focused approaches to meet each client's unique needs and goals. My role is to walk alongside clients as they uncover their strengths, deepen self-awareness, and create lasting change that supports a more intentional and fulfilling life.

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I use CBT to help clients recognize the connection between their thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. Together, we identify patterns that may be contributing to anxiety, stress, low self-esteem, or feeling stuck. Rather than simply focusing on symptoms, I help clients develop practical tools to challenge unhelpful thinking, shift perspective, and create healthier responses that support their goals and well-being.

Interpersonal

Our relationships often have a significant impact on our emotional well-being. Through an interpersonal approach, I help clients explore patterns in their relationships, improve communication skills, navigate conflicts, establish healthy boundaries, and strengthen connections with others. This work can be especially helpful during life transitions, grief, relationship challenges, and periods of isolation.

Psychodynamic

A psychodynamic approach helps clients gain insight into how past experiences, relationships, and unconscious patterns may be influencing their current thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. Together, we explore recurring themes and deeper emotional experiences to foster greater self-awareness, healing, and lasting change. By understanding the roots of present-day challenges, clients can develop new ways of relating to themselves and others.

Mind-body approach

I view emotional and physical well-being as deeply interconnected. In my practice, I incorporate mind-body techniques that help clients become more aware of how stress, emotions, and life experiences are expressed physically. Through mindfulness, body awareness, stress-reduction strategies, and self-care practices, clients learn to reconnect with their bodies, regulate emotions more effectively, and cultivate greater overall wellness.
