LCSW, 17 years of experience
New to Grow
I am both a lawyer and a licensed clinical social worker (LCSW), bringing a unique perspective to supporting high-functioning adolescents and adults who are striving to balance life’s many demands. With over 15 years of experience, I help individuals and families navigate stress, perfectionism, imposter syndrome, and work/life balance challenges. I understand how overwhelming life can feel, even when you appear to “have it all together.” My goal is to create a safe, judgment-free space where you can take a breath, express yourself openly, and explore new ways of coping. I use evidence-based therapeutic approaches to empower people from diverse backgrounds to maximize their potential and achieve a greater sense of balance. You don’t have to manage your struggles alone. Together, we can work toward your goals and create more peace, clarity, and fulfillment in your daily life.
In our first session, we’ll take time to review your intake form together. This gives us a foundation for understanding your background, current concerns, and what brought you to therapy. From there, I’ll invite you to share more about your goals and what you hope to gain from our work. The first session is also an opportunity for you to ask questions, get comfortable with the process, and see if my style feels like a good fit for you. My aim is to create a safe, supportive space where you can begin to feel at ease. By the end of our time, you’ll have a clearer sense of how we can work together and what the next steps in your journey will look like.
What makes my approach unique is the blend of my professional background and my therapeutic style. As both a lawyer and a licensed clinical social worker, I understand the demands of high-pressure environments and the challenges that come with striving for success. I bring this perspective into my work, helping clients not only manage stress but also maximize their potential and create lasting balance. I draw on evidence-based methods such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), mindfulness, and supportive therapy, tailoring each session to your specific needs. My style is collaborative, practical, and compassionate—I believe in meeting you where you are while also gently challenging you to grow. Clients often tell me that therapy with me feels like a place where they can finally exhale: a supportive space to sort through their thoughts, release the pressure of daily demands, and discover strategies that actually work. Over time, many notice that they feel less weighed down by perfectionism, more confident in their abilities, and more equipped to handle life with balance and clarity.
My ideal clients are high-functioning adolescents and adults who appear to “have it all together” but feel overwhelmed inside. Many are professionals, students, or parents navigating the pressures of daily life while struggling with stress, anxiety, perfectionism, or imposter syndrome. I often work with driven, responsible individuals who hold themselves to high standards yet find it difficult to slow down, ask for help, or feel at peace. Some are balancing demanding careers with family life, while others are young people trying to meet academic or personal expectations. Whether you are navigating work/life balance, questioning your sense of worth despite your accomplishments, or simply searching for a safe space to breathe and reset, my goal is to support you in finding healthier ways to cope and create more balance in your life.
I have experience using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) both in training and practice, applying its principles to help clients identify unhelpful thought patterns, challenge cognitive distortions, and build healthier coping strategies. In my practice, I integrate CBT techniques such as thought records, behavioral activation, and cognitive restructuring to support clients in managing anxiety, depression, and everyday stressors. I use a collaborative and goal-oriented approach, tailoring CBT interventions to each client’s unique needs while empowering them to build lasting skills for change.
I use supportive therapy in my practice to create a safe, nonjudgmental space where clients feel heard, validated, and encouraged. My approach focuses on building a strong therapeutic relationship, offering empathy and guidance while helping clients explore their strengths and coping skills. Through supportive therapy, I provide encouragement, reality testing, and practical problem-solving strategies to help clients manage life’s challenges and move toward their goals.
