Hi there! My name is Dr. Gina Kilderry. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in Pennsylvania, Delaware, and New Jersey. I hold both a Master’s degree and a Doctorate (PsyD) in Counseling Psychology. I have worked with adults with varying concerns for 6 years in the Greater Philadelphia area. My clinical experience includes working with individuals with substance use disorders and co-occurring mental health conditions. I am certified as a Co-Occurring Disorders Specialist (CCDS). I also have experience working with criminal offenders in both community and institutional settings, addressing a range of behavioral, emotional, and psychological concerns. In addition, I have worked with LGBTQIA+ individuals both as a volunteer and in practice, and can assist with many related concerns. I have experience with various diagnoses, but I view each client as a person, not a diagnosis. I work collaboratively with each client on the goals you set, to help you achieve meaningful progress and personal growth.
In our first session together, here's what you can expect
The initial session is an opportunity for us to get to know each other and explore what has brought you to therapy. We’ll begin by reviewing relevant background information and identifying your primary concerns. From there, we’ll collaborate to establish meaningful goals for our work together. In ongoing sessions, I will support you in navigating your challenges and guide you toward achieving the goals you’ve set.
The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions
My experience across a variety of clinical settings has shaped a holistic approach to care—one that recognizes each client as a whole person, not just a diagnosis or a set of symptoms. I strive to help you identify your strengths and empower you to achieve your goals. I offer compassionate, nonjudgmental support and welcome individuals from all walks of life, regardless of the challenges they may be facing. Together, we can navigate difficult emotions, confront fears, and build resilience along the way.
The clients I'm best positioned to serve
**At this time I only have evening and weekend availability.** I’m passionate about working with adults of all ages who are ready to create meaningful change in their lives. Whether you're navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, addiction, or LGBTQIA+ concerns, I’m here to support you. I especially enjoy helping individuals move from a place of simply surviving to truly thriving—empowered, confident, and in control. If you’re struggling to manage your emotions or facing challenges due to ongoing mental health concerns, know that you’re not alone. Together, we can work toward healing, growth, and a more fulfilling life.
Integrative
I work primarily from a Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) framework while maintaining a client-centered approach. I integrate skills from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and often use Motivational Interviewing to aid in change. Mindfulness underlies all of my practice.
