I am a Licensed Professional Counselor providing telehealth services in Arizona, California, South Carolina, and Virginia. I offer individualized, evidence-based outpatient psychotherapy designed to support each client’s unique needs and goals. My clinical experience includes working with individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma/PTSD, and attention-related concerns such as ADD/ADHD. I strive to create a safe, welcoming, and nonjudgmental therapeutic space where clients can openly explore their thoughts, emotions, and life experiences. My approach is collaborative and client-centered, focusing on helping individuals develop insight, strengthen coping skills, and reconnect with their inner strengths and resilience. Together, we work to identify meaningful goals and develop a personalized treatment plan that supports lasting growth and change. In my work, I value a whole-person approach to wellness, recognizing the strong connection between mental, emotional, and physical health. I encourage clients to consider how factors such as stress, lifestyle habits, self-care practices, and nervous system regulation influence overall well-being. Integrating these elements into therapy can help clients build sustainable strategies for managing challenges and improving quality of life. My goal is to support you in growing through life’s challenges, healing from difficult experiences, and moving toward a more balanced and fulfilling life. I am committed to being responsive, supportive, and accountable throughout the therapeutic process while fostering an environment that is inclusive, respectful, and affirming of all identities, cultures, and backgrounds.
In our first session together, here's what you can expect
Your first session is an opportunity for us to begin getting to know one another and to establish a comfortable foundation for our work together. We will start with brief introductions and discuss what led you to seek therapy at this time. This is your space to share as much or as little as you feel comfortable. Initial sessions typically last 53–60 minutes and include completing a biopsychosocial assessment. This assessment allows me to gain a comprehensive understanding of different areas of your life, including emotional well-being, personal history, relationships, stressors, coping strategies, and factors related to your physical health and lifestyle that may influence your overall wellness. Taking this whole-person approach helps us identify patterns, strengths, and areas where support may be most helpful. Together, we will begin to clarify your goals for therapy and develop a personalized treatment plan to guide our work in future sessions. You are welcome to ask questions at any point during the session. My goal is to create a supportive, collaborative, and nonjudgmental environment where you feel heard, respected, and empowered as we begin this process.
The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions
My therapeutic approach is grounded in client-centered care, meaning I prioritize creating a safe, supportive environment where you feel heard, respected, and understood. I believe that each person is the expert on their own life, and therapy works best when we collaborate to explore your experiences, strengths, and goals. I have particular experience working with individuals navigating anxiety, depression, and trauma, and I tailor treatment to meet each client’s unique needs rather than relying on a one-size-fits-all approach. In our sessions, we will work together to identify patterns, develop practical coping strategies, and build skills that support emotional resilience and personal growth. A key part of my approach is helping clients apply what they learn in therapy to their everyday lives. I often encourage practicing skills and strategies between sessions so that progress continues outside of the therapy room. Over time, this helps clients build confidence in their ability to manage challenges and create meaningful, lasting change. I also value a whole-person perspective, recognizing that emotional well-being is closely connected to physical health, stress management, and lifestyle habits. By considering these interconnected factors, we can work toward a more balanced and sustainable path to overall wellness.
The clients I'm best positioned to serve
I work best with adult professionals from diverse backgrounds who are ready to invest in their personal growth and gain deeper insight into their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. My clients are motivated to create meaningful change but may feel stuck, overwhelmed, anxious, or uncertain about how to get there. They recognize that they want to grow and improve, but may not yet have the tools, strategies, or guidance to achieve their goals fully. I enjoy collaborating with individuals who are curious, reflective, and willing to engage actively in therapy, including practicing new skills and strategies outside of sessions. Together, we focus on building practical coping skills, increasing self-awareness, and strengthening resilience, with a whole-person approach that addresses both emotional and physical well-being. My clients often seek support during life transitions, career or relationship challenges, and emotional difficulties such as anxiety, depression, or trauma. They appreciate a therapist who combines expertise, empathy, and accountability to help them move forward confidently toward a more balanced, empowered, and fulfilling life. Please note: I do not provide evaluations or letters for Emotional Support Animals (ESAs) as part of my practice.
Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
I have several years of experience using CBT to assist patients with identifying and reframing unhelpful thinking patterns that impact their feelings and behaviors.
EMDR
I have been EMDR trained and have been practicing EMDR for 5 years. Before any trauma processing, patients will learn emotional regulation techniques.
Dialectical Behavior (DBT)
I have completed several DBT trainings and use it to help patients learn mindfulness techniques, interpersonal effectiveness skills, emotional regulation, and distress tolerance skills.

Ms. Rice is helping me process grief, loss, death, and betrayal from family and non family trauma. I have a hx of anxiety and depression and have been in therapy multiple times over the years, and it has been difficult for me to find a good match. She is helping me to see things in a different light to help me help myself. I am grateful she became a helper of humanity.

I am very thankful that I chose Roslyn as my therapist. She is easy to talk to and, while she challenges me, she helps me to find ways to help myself by teaching me new tools as well as reminding me of the ones I already have. I highly recommend her!
