New to Grow
Hello! I am a licensed psychotherapist with over six years of experience, primarily supporting individuals 18 and over. I take a holistic approach, drawing on evidence-based practices to address a range of concerns including anxiety, depression, trauma, ADHD, stress, and self-esteem. My approach centers on creating a safe, trusting, and collaborative therapeutic space. I strive to honor each client’s emotional experiences while guiding them to build resilience, develop coping skills, and cultivate self-empowerment. I look forward to supporting you on your journey toward growth and meaningful change.
In our first session together, here's what you can expect
In our first session, we’ll take the time to get to know you and understand what brought you to therapy. I want to hear about your experiences, your challenges, and what matters most to you. We’ll also talk about your goals and explore how I can support you in a way that feels safe, collaborative, and tailored to your needs. My goal is to create a space where you feel heard, understood, and ready to start building the skills and insight that will help you grow.
The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions
One of my greatest strengths is building strong rapport and trust, creating a safe, collaborative space where clients feel comfortable sharing vulnerable experiences. I combine empathy, honesty, and active listening with evidence-based skills to help clients stay accountable to their growth, recognize their strengths, and gain the confidence to live more authentically and empowered.
The clients I'm best positioned to serve
I work with individuals 18 and over who are navigating life transitions, managing stress, anxiety, depression, trauma, ADHD, or challenges with self-esteem and emotional regulation. My ideal clients are open to exploring their experiences in a safe, collaborative space and are motivated to build coping skills, self-awareness, and resilience. I also support clients who want to strengthen relationships, cultivate self-empowerment, and make meaningful personal growth.
Trauma-Focused CBT
I am TF-CBT certified and have extensive experience using this model with children and adolescents who have experienced trauma. In my work, I guide clients through the core components of TF-CBT, helping them build coping and emotional regulation skills, process traumatic experiences safely, and strengthen their sense of empowerment. I also work closely with parents to help them understand trauma-informed parenting approaches, build supportive communication, and reinforce coping skills at home to strengthen the parent-child relationship.
Acceptance and commitment (ACT)
I use Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) when I find it clinically appropriate for the client’s needs. This approach helps clients build psychological flexibility and align their actions with personal values. I integrate mindfulness, acceptance, and cognitive defusion techniques to help clients manage difficult thoughts and emotions while moving toward meaningful change.
Eclectic
I take an integrative and eclectic approach, tailoring evidence-based treatments to each client’s unique needs. I meet clients where they are in life and view therapy as a collaborative process. My priority is to create a safe and supportive space where clients can build trust, strength, and resilience.
Humanistic
I use a humanistic approach to create a safe, trusting, and collaborative environment where clients feel truly heard and valued. I prioritize preserving clients’ emotional experiences while supporting them in developing self-awareness, self-acceptance, and personal growth. My goal is to empower clients to explore their strengths, build resilience, and work toward meaningful change.
Mindfulness-Based Therapy
I incorporate Mindfulness-Based Therapy to help clients increase awareness of their thoughts, emotions, and bodily sensations in the present moment. By integrating mindfulness exercises and grounding techniques, I support clients in managing stress, anxiety, and emotional reactivity. This approach is often combined with other evidence-based methods to help clients build self-regulation, resilience, and a greater sense of calm and clarity.
