New to Grow
I believe therapy works best when it feels like a space where you can feel safe enough to be honest, explore deeply, and process emotions without judgment. Building trust and a strong therapeutic relationship is at the center of my work, because real growth happens when you feel seen, supported, and understood. Together, we’ll create a space where you can make sense of your experiences, navigate challenges, and move toward your goals at your own pace.
In our first session, we’ll spend time getting to know each other and beginning to build a sense of comfort and trust. I’ll ask about what’s bringing you in, as well as your background, relationships, and any important experiences that have shaped you. This is also a space for you to ask questions and get a feel for how I work. There’s no pressure to share everything at once. We’ll go at a pace that feels right for you.
I bring a grounded, compassionate, and collaborative presence to therapy. I’m not here to judge or tell you what to do. I’m here to understand you, help you make sense of what you’re experiencing, and support you in figuring out what changes feel right for you. My work has been shaped by experience in harm reduction and community-based care, which means I approach each person with openness, respect, and an understanding that change is not one-size-fits-all. I value honesty, curiosity, and real connection, and I’ll meet you where you are while encouraging growth at a pace that feels manageable.
My ideal client is someone who shows up with curiosity and openness, even if they’re not exactly sure what they want to focus on in therapy or how they can get there. You don’t need to have the right words or a clear roadmap in our first session. A willingness to show up and engage in the process of self exploration is more than enough.
Eclectic
I blend elements from several modalities together to tailor treatment to best suit each client.
