(she/her)20 years of experience

Hi I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) based in Pennsylvania. I am licensed in Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Texas, and Connecticut. I received my Masters Degree from Arcadia University. I have been in the field for over 20 years practicing individual therapy, group therapy, and crisis intervention. I help adults struggling with depression anxiety and suicidal thoughts overcome their struggles and become the best version of themselves.

First session

In our first session together, we'll start with brief introductions. We will then fully explore the specific challenges that bring you to therapy. This will help me create a plan tailored to your needs that we will utilize in all follow up sessions.

Strengths

I encourage a supportive and collaborative relationship with my clients in which we identify goals and work toward solutions to their concerns. We work together to explore the manner in which their thought processes, emotions, relationships, and environment interact together and affect the ability to attain goals and improve their emotional well-being.

Ideal clients

I find working with an adult population to be a rewarding experience. From young adults transitioning out of adolescence to adults dealing with balancing work stress and family life. As a therapist I can help provide the tools needed to navigate the variety of challenges that occur in daily life.

Treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I utilize Cognitive Behavioral Therapy to help individuals address negative or unhelpful thoughts or behavioral patterns. I have been able to help individuals identify and explore how their thoughts can affect their actions. When individuals are more aware of their negative thinking, they can view challenging situations more accurately and respond to them in an effective manner.

Acceptance and commitment (ACT)

I have utilized Acceptance and Commitment Therapy to help individuals identify their values and engage in behavior that is consistent with these values. Using Acceptance and Commitment Theory individual's learn acceptance as a way to cope with negative thoughts feelings and circumstances.
