I specialize in working with high achieving professionals experiencing symptoms of anxiety and depression while balancing the multifaceted aspects of a fast paced life style. After graduating from The University of Southern California's School of Social Work, I have spent my career managing clinical operations in high acuity outpatient clinics and working with fortune 500 employees in both EAP and private practice settings in Seattle and San Francisco.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

I always start with an introductory session, where we’ll have the opportunity to connect about your story and what would make therapy feel productive to you. As we continue to meet we'll set weekly intentions on what to focus on between our sessions... hopefully encouraging you to put new tools into practice!

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

I take a strengths-based approach to therapy. Together we will identify what coping skills have helped get you get as far as you are today and then we can identify any gaps that we can fill in with new evidence based practices, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy or Dialectical Behavioral Therapy strategies.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

I love working with "first timers"; individuals who have never been to therapy before but feel like they might be ready to try it. I strive to lower the barrier to entry to accessing 50 minutes a week to just focus on ourselves. Together we can explore different approaches that work best for you to explore your own thoughts, feelings and behaviors.

My treatment methods

Acceptance and commitment (ACT)

Together we can reduce the energy spent on fighting unhelpful thoughts and feelings and instead focus on living in line with your values. We can do this by creating separation between you as yourself from your thoughts.

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

Using CBT we can help change our thinking patterns which impact our emotions and behaviors to think more realistically and act in line with our values.
