Hi! I'm Tasha- a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who truly enjoys walking alongside individuals and couples as they navigate life’s changes, relationships, and the moments that feel overwhelming or uncertain. I offer a warm, supportive space where you can exhale, be yourself, and feel genuinely heard. Together, we’ll sort through what’s weighing on you, build practical tools that actually fit your life, and create healthier patterns that feel more aligned with who you are becoming. My hope is that you leave our work feeling lighter, clearer, and more confident in moving forward.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

A welcoming, relaxed space where you don’t have to have everything figured out. We’ll spend time getting to know each other, talking through what brings you to therapy, and exploring what you’d like to feel different in your life or relationships. I’ll ask thoughtful questions to better understand your experiences, strengths, and goals, and together we’ll begin identifying a direction for our work. Most clients leave the first session feeling heard, clearer about next steps, and reassured that they have a supportive place to process and grow.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

My warm and collaborative therapy style. I balance warmth with structure, helping you feel understood while also guiding you toward meaningful, measurable change. I am attentive to patterns in relationships and communication, and I integrate practical tools with deeper emotional processing so growth feels both insightful and actionable. Clients often share that they appreciate my calm presence, direct yet compassionate feedback, and the way I help them move from feeling stuck to feeling clear, empowered, and intentional in their choices.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

Individuals and couples who are facing life transitions, relationship challenges, anxiety, or emotional fatigue and are ready to better understand themselves and create meaningful change. Many of my clients are thoughtful, driven, and deeply caring people who want healthier communication, stronger connections, and a greater sense of balance. If you’re open to reflection, growth, and learning practical tools that truly fit your life, I would be honored to support you.

My treatment methods

Strength-Based

I utilize a strengths-based approach as a foundational lens in my practice, helping clients recognize and build upon the resilience, insight, and personal resources they already possess. When individuals or couples feel overwhelmed by anxiety, depression, or life transitions, I work collaboratively to identify coping skills, values, relational strengths, and past successes that can support forward movement.

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I integrate Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) into my practice to help clients better understand the connection between their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. My experience using CBT includes supporting individuals navigating anxiety, depression, relationship stress, and life transitions by identifying unhelpful thinking patterns, challenging cognitive distortions, and developing healthier coping strategies. I use a structured yet collaborative approach, incorporating practical tools, skill-building exercises, and real-life application so clients can experience meaningful change both in and outside of sessions.

Gottman method

I utilize the Gottman Method in my work with couples to strengthen communication, deepen emotional connection, and rebuild trust. My experience includes helping partners identify negative interaction cycles, improve conflict management, and increase fondness and admiration within the relationship. Using research-based interventions, I guide couples in developing practical skills such as softened start-ups, effective repair attempts, and shared meaning building. This structured yet compassionate approach allows couples to feel heard and understood while creating healthier patterns that support long-term stability and intimacy.

Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT)

I incorporate Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) in my work with couples and individuals to help identify and transform negative relational patterns rooted in unmet attachment needs. My experience includes guiding partners in recognizing emotional triggers, de-escalating conflict cycles, and expressing underlying vulnerabilities in a safe and structured way. Through this process, clients develop deeper emotional awareness, strengthen secure attachment, and rebuild trust and connection. EFT allows me to support meaningful relational repair while fostering greater empathy, responsiveness, and emotional closeness.

Gestalt

I incorporate Gestalt therapy principles to help clients increase self-awareness and take ownership of their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors in the present moment. My experience includes guiding individuals to explore unfinished emotional experiences, relational patterns, and internal conflicts through experiential techniques that promote insight and integration. I encourage clients to notice how they show up in relationships, how past experiences influence current reactions, and where they may feel stuck. By fostering present-focused awareness and personal responsibility, this approach supports emotional clarity, authenticity, and meaningful change.
