I am a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) and have been a mental health provider since 2004. I have worked with clients with chronic diagnoses such as schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, and major depressive disorder, but my passion is to work with those attempting to manage trauma symptoms, anxiety, depression, grief and loss, life stressors, relationships, and those who are trying to identify the root causes of pain, trauma, stress, and overall unhappiness. My approach to therapy is that there is No One Way to do anything. Possibilities and solutions are infinite and individualized. Understanding how our thoughts influence our lives is a key part of my approach to therapy. A cognitive behavioral approach may be appropriate for one person and a dialectical approach may be more appropriate for another. We will explore together what works best for you, and use those strategies to bring forth restoration of the mind, body, spirit, and overall emotional well-being.
What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?
In our first session we'll start with a brief introduction, then dive into the specific challenges you're facing. We will work together to determine a plan of treatment for us to work through in follow up sessions.

Trauma work is my passion! I have over 20 years experience helping clients overcome trauma. I am dedicated to serving those who have experienced a range of traumatic experiences including those who have been incarcerated or have worked in jail/detention settings and have had repeated exposure to trauma.
