At every stage of life we will go through a transition as we journey through our life experiences. Some of our encounters will be beneficent. But many of us will experience moments of unhappiness because of unforeseen circumstances such as divorce, loss of employment, sickness or the inevitable death or loss of a loved one. There are countless experiences one may come up against throughout life. My mission is to work with you in making the changes to transition into the next phase of your life regardless of your past circumstances. Journey of Transitions is a private mental health counseling practice offering therapeutic services for a variety of mental health needs. In addition to the services listed we also offer mobile home based therapeutic services, supported employment, dual diagnosis and addictions treatment. We use an eclectic and holistic approach to treatment to empower individuals to take control of their lives.

Clients can expect a warm welcome and a safe space, met with empathy, warmth, and respect ensuring they feel comfortable sharing concerns. Clients will receive a comprehensive clinical assessment, an opportunity to share their story, current challenges, strengths, and goals for therapy.

I am best positioned to serve Adults and young adults experiencing life transitions (e.g., divorce, career changes, grief, or major life adjustments. Individuals struggling with depression, anxiety, and emotional distress who need structured tools to regain control over their thoughts and behaviors. Individuals experiencing loss or grief who need support in processing emotions and finding a path forward. People facing chronic stress, burnout, or relationship difficulties who would benefit from emotional regulation.

Dialectical Behavior (DBT)

I support clients in finding balance and emotional stability through use of dialectal behavior therapy. Helping individuals struggling with depression, anxiety, and emotional distress develop skills in mindfulness, distress tolerance, emotional regulation, and interpersonal effectiveness. Together we will work on managing overwhelming emotions, improving relationships, and creating lasting, positive changes in your life.
