My goal as a licensed professional counselor is to assist clients in fostering positive, sustainable self-growth within a safe, supportive, and non-judgmental environment. I strive to work collaboratively with clients to establish achievable goals, while providing support in understanding the thoughts and behaviors that may be contributing to the issues they are experiencing in life. I am an Assistant Professor, and Program Coordinator of the Master of Science in School Counseling program at Texas A& M International University. After over 20 years of experience in education working as a teacher, special education case manager, and certified school counselor at the elementary, middle, and high school levels and a counselor education and supervision professor, I now practice in the heart of the Medical Center in San Antonio Texas at Evolución Counseling where counseling services are offered to individuals, couples, and families facing a broad range of issues.

Our hopes at Evolución are to provide support and encouragement for individuals, couples, and families along the path. Our goal at Evolución is your space to discover and EVOLVE without judgment. It is your space in this world to be inspired, supported, and motivated to help you heal, restore and recharge in whatever way you desire. I work with clients who are seeking guidance and support with issues they may be struggeling with that are affecting their daily life in a negative way.
