I am licensed in Alabama with 8 years of professional work experience. I have experience in helping clients with stress, anxiety, motivation, self esteem, confidence, career difficulties, executive coaching, & professional coaching. I also have experience working with compassion fatigue. I believe that you are the expert of your story and that you have many strengths that will assist you in overcoming things that challenge you. It takes courage to seek out a more fulfilling and happier life and to take the first steps towards a change. I am here to support & empower you in that journey.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

In our first session, I will offer you the opportunity to share what brought you in for services. Then I will ask about your prior experience with therapy, if you have any. If not, it's not a biggie. We will discuss your expectations, and I will explain what I can do to make your experience the best possible one.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

I think what stands out in my approach is that I am very committed to your well-being and support throughout this process. I have found that after a couple of sessions, clients easily feel at home and feel possibilities open up in many new ways.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

My ideal client is reflective and passionate about moving forward in life. I typically have mostly BIPOC women and teen young ladies in my caseload from a wide spectrum. The most common thread for my caseload is the desire to have results and start the journey to healing/growth.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

Using CBT Methodology, I have trained as Community Counselor with a specialty in disability and work accessibility services. I have used this style in community services, university offices, counseling young parents, and teen services. I expanded my expertise to include a person-centered component when I became a local Clinical Coordinator. In my process, I begin with simple art exercises to create a session flow. Based on discussed goals, I customize CBT methods and worksheets to enhance your growth session by session. In all, I love the interaction because I want you to feel you have someone with you on your team!
