Emotional Trauma happens when someone or something violates your trust and/or well-being. If you have been betrayed and are experiencing self-doubt, trust/safety issues, poor self-esteem, or any self sabotage behaviors you could benefit from individual or couple therapy. Whether your issues are from childhood, relationships, your career, or past mistakes; betrayal can cause a variety of problems that will cause you to suffer and feel stagnated. I became a Therapist because I wanted to help individuals and couples who need healing from unresolved issues from their past. Although, it may feel as if life can't be different, this is not true. In our first session together, here's what you can expect
If you are tired of suffering, we will work as a team, in individual or couple therapy, to determine how the trauma has affected your beliefs about yourself and others. Then we take the time to determine if these beliefs represent you as a person/couple and begin rebuilding a life of freedom. Feeling free to love and live a life without fear and conflict.

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) and I have 22 years of experience working with adults, families, children, women, substance abusers, and offenders in the community. Along with my LCSW, I am also a certified Master Addiction Counselor (MAC), and Clinical Supervisor (CCS).

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
I utilize Cognitive Behavioral Therapy as the basic foundation of therapy to help you change how you react, perceive, think, and speak about the problems in your life. You will engage in in-session assignments, educational activities, and learn strength-based skills to find solutions to deal with your dissatisfactions with life.
Couples Counseling
My goal on this platform is to educate couples about skills that can improve the quality of their relationship. I facilitate a 12-week process that help you: 1: Assess your relationship strengths and weaknesses. 2: Learn skills to minimize conflict and strengthen your relationship.
