Hello all. My name is Anita. Do you feel like you don't know who you are anymore? Maybe more sad or stressed than usual? My career as mental health therapist chose me as a way to provide meaningful service to others. Over the years my heart has stayed in it as abilities continually grow to meet the many different treatment needs that folks have. My sessions provide a safe and judgment free zone. I meet you where you are on the healing path with each person, couple, or family. The journey differs for all and I use a variety of evidence based practices for your benefit. These include Person Centered, TF CBT, Solution Focus, CBT, DBT techniques, Motivational Interviewing, Family Systems work, among others.
After the first therapy session you may feel overly exposed along with a variety of other uncomfortable emotions. Don't be alarmed. Your ability to accept being vulnerable and courageous while adapting to being more open will grow with you. I will be walking with you on your healing journey to improved health.

Treating trauma using thinking methods is a specialty area. Each person has their own unique story and what has led them to the therapy room. What you understand best is what you build from to gain more self awareness. Changing the way you think can help change unwanted feelings to desirable ones, and more healthy improvement.
