I’m a licensed clinical social worker who believes therapy should feel like a space where you can exhale. I aim to bring warmth, steadiness, and a bit of gentle humor into our work together, because healing can be tender — and sometimes even a little lightness helps us breathe through it. I work with individuals navigating anxiety, trauma, life transitions, and substance use, and I approach each person with deep respect for their story and lived experience. Creating an inclusive, affirming space is important to me. I want clients of all identities and backgrounds to feel genuinely seen, safe, and supported. My hope is that our work helps you reconnect with your strengths, feel more grounded in yourself, and move through life with greater clarity and self-trust.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

Our first session is a gentle starting point. We’ll spend time getting to know each other and talking about what’s bringing you in, what you’ve been carrying, and what you’re hoping might feel different in your life. There’s no pressure to share everything at once , we’ll move at a pace that feels comfortable for you. I’ll ask some thoughtful questions to understand your history, current stressors, and strengths so we can begin identifying goals and a direction for our work. Together, we’ll start creating a plan that feels supportive, practical, and aligned with what you need right now. It’s completely normal to feel a little nervous starting therapy. My hope is that you leave our first session feeling heard, understood, and a bit more grounded than when you arrived.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

I strive to create a grounded space where you can slow down, reflect honestly, and explore what’s beneath the surface without feeling rushed or overwhelmed. I balance practical skill-building with deeper emotional processing. Whether we’re developing tools for managing intense emotions or gently working through experiences that still feel activated, my goal is to support meaningful change. I also see therapy as a collaborative process. Rather than giving you all the answers, I help you reflect, connect the dots, and discover your own insights. My role is to guide and support you as you build greater self-awareness, resilience, and trust in your ability to heal.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

I’m best positioned to support individuals who feel overwhelmed, emotionally stuck, or tired of managing everything on the surface while something deeper still feels unsettled. Many of the clients I work with are navigating anxiety, trauma, life transitions, or patterns around substance use, and are ready for more than just coping, they’re ready for meaningful, lasting change. You might be insightful and self-aware, yet still notice your body reacting before your mind can catch up. You may be curious about understanding your nervous system, shifting long-standing emotional patterns, or healing experiences that still feel “activated” beneath the surface. I work especially well with clients who are open to self-reflection and willing to gently explore both practical skills and deeper emotional processing. Together, we create a grounded, supportive space where growth happens at a pace that feels steady and sustainable.

My treatment methods

Brainspotting

I’m trained in Brainspotting and use it to help clients gently process trauma, anxiety, and experiences that feel “stuck” in the body. Brainspotting is a focused, brain-body approach that allows us to access deeper emotional material beyond just talking about it. I integrate it at a pace that feels safe and collaborative, often beginning with grounding and nervous system support. Many clients find it especially helpful when they’ve gained insight in therapy but still feel lingering emotional activation. My goal is always to create a steady, supportive space where healing can unfold naturally.

Dialectical Behavior (DBT)

Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) helps clients build practical skills for managing intense emotions, navigating relationships, and reducing impulsive or self-defeating behaviors. DBT offers concrete tools for mindfulness, distress tolerance, emotional regulation, and interpersonal effectiveness.

Strength-Based

From a strengths-based perspective, which means I focus on what’s already working , not just what feels difficult or broken. I believe each client brings resilience, insight, and untapped capacity into the room, even during seasons of struggle. In our work together, we identify your strengths, values, and past successes, and use them as anchors for growth and change. T his approach pairs well with skill-building therapies like DBT and deeper processing methods like Brainspotting, helping clients feel empowered while doing meaningful healing work.
