Just looking to talk through life’s difficulties and come up with practical solutions to everyday stress? My goal is to help you navigate those stressful seasons in life. Working from a CBT and solution focused framework, we will brainstorm and implement practical solutions and work toward attainable goals. Everyday life can be a lot, let’s work together to bring some peace and harmony back into your routine. My name is Kaylin, and I have been working in the mental health field for over 6 years. I have experience working with individuals and families that are struggling to cope with everyday stress. My focus over the past two years has been with elementary age children and families providing support and guidance with achievable goals and desired outcomes of reduced stress and increased harmony in the home and school settings. Parenting, working, and maintaining a healthy relationship and social life can be overwhelming, I’d be happy to help create more balance and implement strategies that work best for you and your family.
First session
Our first session will be a time for you to share what brought you to seek counseling. I want to learn about your short term and long term goals, as well as your family history and household dynamics. We will work together to identify achievable goals and a plan that you feel confident can help you get there. Following our first session we will implement the interventions discussed and check in each week to modify the interventions as needed and acknowledge any goals that have been achieved.
Strengths
I have a passion for helping parents find peace and balance within their homes again. I have found that parents often feel alone and judged by their peers when their children struggle and my goal is to support these parents, provide tools and strategies that may help, and a space to openly process the challenge of being a parent, a spouse, an employee, and in individual.
