New to Grow
My approach varies based on your individual needs. I most frequently use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, aspects of Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, and Attachment Theory to help create awareness and understanding. Together, we work toward meaningful change that fits your life and goals. I have lengthy experience in high acuity, crisis settings, educational settings, and life challenges. My communication style is calm, personable, and accommodating. I want my clients to feel comfortable and connected with me, and I take pride in my nonjudgmental listening. I became a therapist because I have a genuine interest in helping others become the best version of themselves. I've been naturally drawn to supporting people since I was young, trusted by friends and active in my community.
In our first session together, here's what you can expect
In our first session, we'll talk about how you've been feeling recently. I'll ask questions to better understand why you may be feeling that way. This session is about building connection and helping me gain a sense of where we go from here.
The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions
I approach goal setting by collaborating with you on what you want to accomplish. We start by getting comfortable with therapy and building trust. As we move forward, we track your progress and adjust our focus to match where you are in your journey.
The clients I'm best positioned to serve
I work with adults, teens, and children experiencing depression, anxiety, loneliness, low self-esteem, stress, family challenges, and relationship barriers. I help you build the skills and tools to navigate these changes, feel better, create positive shifts, and experience a more hopeful outlook.
