I help women create the lives they want and improve their relationships with themselves and with others. Are you a woman who feels there’s never enough time to get everything done? Do you often feel disconnected from who you really are and the life you were meant to live? Maybe your life has taken an unexpected turn and you’re feeling overwhelmed and unorganized, stuck and unbalanced. Maybe you’ve been trying to make some changes on your own, but it’s not working. I understand, and I can help. With over twenty years of experience in the field of mental health and wellness, it would be my privilege to be your guide and to help you navigate your way back to a life you love. I am a licensed clinical social worker with a master’s degree from the University of Chicago. I utilize a solution focused, strength-based approach characterized by empathy, compassion, and acceptance. By providing you with a safe space free from judgement, you’ll have the freedom to be completely honest and real. Together we’ll take a look at how your current thoughts are impacting your feelings and actions, and we’ll figure out a plan to go from where you are now to where you want to be. You likely know the benefits of exercise for your body, but what are you doing to take care of your brain? Mental health is just as important as physical health. This is about your well-being, and I hope you’ll decide to go all in on you! If you’re ready to start changing behavior patterns that are no longer working for you and move towards the life you want, then let’s get started!

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

My hope is that clients will end sessions feeling that they have been seen and heard, and that they will feel motivated to try some new tools and new thoughts in order to achieve some new outcomes in their lives.

The treatment methods and tools I utilize

The majority of the tools and techniques that I utilize in my practice are derived from cognitive behavioral therapy, but I also pull from acceptance commitment therapy and positive psychology.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

I purposefully keep my caseload rather small, so that I can really focus on each one of my clients, and provide them with the individualized care that they deserve. I also always invite feedback from my clients, so that I can make course corrections as needed in order to ensure that our time together is as beneficial as it can be.

I just had my first session with her, and I already feel like I’ve found the right therapist. She guides the conversation confidently while still encouraging your own input, which takes away the stress of not knowing where to begin. She’s warm, compassionate, and I never once felt judged. Instead of sitting in silence over my questionable decisions, we were able to acknowledge them, laugh a little, and it felt very refreshing.

Tracy listens and really is trying to help me figure things out. I have tried other therapists and none can hold a candle to her. I would recommend her to everyone. I look forward to appointments with her.
