New clients continue care with this provider

I help women create the lives they want and improve their relationships with themselves and with others. Are you a woman who feels there’s never enough time to get everything done? Do you often feel disconnected from who you really are and the life you were meant to live? Maybe your life has taken an unexpected turn and you’re feeling overwhelmed and unorganized, stuck and unbalanced. Maybe you’ve been trying to make some changes on your own, but it’s not working. I understand, and I can help. With over twenty years of experience in the field of mental health and wellness, it would be my privilege to be your guide and to help you navigate your way back to a life you love. I am a licensed clinical social worker with a master’s degree from the University of Chicago. I utilize a solution focused, strength-based approach characterized by empathy, compassion, and acceptance. By providing you with a safe space free from judgement, you’ll have the freedom to be completely honest and real. Together we’ll take a look at how your current thoughts are impacting your feelings and actions, and we’ll figure out a plan to go from where you are now to where you want to be. You likely know the benefits of exercise for your body, but what are you doing to take care of your brain? Mental health is just as important as physical health. This is about your well-being, and I hope you’ll decide to go all in on you! If you’re ready to start changing behavior patterns that are no longer working for you and move towards the life you want, then let’s get started!

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

My hope is that clients will end sessions feeling that they have been seen and heard, and that they will feel motivated to try some new tools and new thoughts in order to achieve some new outcomes in their lives.

What treatment methods and tools do you utilize?

The majority of the tools and techniques that I utilize in my practice are derived from cognitive behavioral therapy, but I also pull from acceptance commitment therapy and positive psychology.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

I purposefully keep my caseload rather small, so that I can really focus on each one of my clients, and provide them with the individualized care that they deserve. I also always invite feedback from my clients, so that I can make course corrections as needed in order to ensure that our time together is as beneficial as it can be.
