If you don’t see your insurance listed here, don’t worry—coverage may still be available. For the most accurate and up-to-date information, please visit balanceandbloomoh.com. I’m a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with over a decade of nursing experience and a strong background in women’s health. As a former labor and delivery nurse, I have a deep understanding of the emotional and hormonal transitions women experience across the lifespan. I provide thoughtful, integrative care that combines evidence-based medication management with lifestyle and therapeutic support. My approach is warm, collaborative, and centered on helping you restore balance and grow into your most grounded, resilient self.
In our first session, you can expect a relaxed, supportive conversation where we focus on understanding you—not just your symptoms. We’ll talk about what brought you in, what you’ve been experiencing, and what you’re hoping will feel different in your life. I’ll ask about your mental health history, medical background, family history, past medication trials (if any), and current lifestyle factors like sleep, stress, nutrition, and support systems. This helps me see the full picture so we can create a thoughtful, individualized plan. If medication is appropriate, we’ll discuss options, benefits, and potential side effects so you feel informed and empowered in your decisions. We’ll also talk about therapy, coping tools, and other supports that may be helpful. Most importantly, you should leave our first session feeling heard, understood, and clear about next steps.
What stands out about my approach is that I truly view mental health through a whole-person lens. I don’t just look at symptoms—I consider hormones, life stage, stress load, sleep, relationships, medical history, and lifestyle factors that may be contributing to how you’re feeling. As a provider with a background in women’s health, I’m especially attuned to the emotional and hormonal shifts that occur during pregnancy, postpartum, perimenopause, and other major transitions. I blend evidence-based medication management with supportive therapeutic techniques and practical strategies you can actually implement in your daily life. Clients often tell me they appreciate how collaborative and thorough our work feels. My goal isn’t just symptom reduction—it’s helping you feel steady, clear, and empowered in your own body and mind.
I specialize in supporting women through anxiety, depression, and mood changes related to pregnancy, postpartum, and hormonal transitions. Many of my clients feel overwhelmed, stuck in overthinking, emotionally drained, or not like themselves. I provide evidence-based, compassionate care, including medication management when appropriate, and collaborate closely with therapists to ensure well-rounded support. My goal is to help you feel more balanced, regain clarity, and feel like you again at any stage of womanhood.
