Hi, I’m Nasim Javan - a licensed therapist with over 13 years of experience and a Motherhood Identity & Communication Coach. I’m also a mom of two, an avid tennis lover, and someone who deeply believes that women don’t need to try harder - they need more support. I specialize in helping women navigate major life transitions, with a particular focus on motherhood, identity shifts, relationship changes, loss, and career transitions. Many of the women I work with are high-functioning, capable, and used to holding everything together - until the mental load, burnout, and emotional exhaustion become too heavy to carry alone. My work is grounded in a simple truth: struggling doesn’t mean you’re failing - it means you’re unsupported. I support women who are navigating: The identity shift of motherhood Mental load overwhelm and burnout Relationship and communication challenges Guilt around asking for help or setting boundaries Loss, grief, or major life changes Feeling disconnected from themselves Together, we work to: Rebuild confidence and clarity during motherhood Reduce overwhelm and redistribute the mental load Strengthen communication and relationship dynamics Set boundaries without guilt Develop coping strategies that actually fit real life Reconnect with who you are - beyond roles and expectations
In our first session together, here's what you can expect
In our first session, we focus on building trust and understanding. We’ll explore what’s brought you here, what feels hardest right now, and what you want to be different. From there, we’ll begin clarifying goals and identifying the patterns, barriers, and supports that will help you move forward with intention and confidence.
The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions
My Strengths as a Clinician & Coach: Clients often tell me they feel safe, understood, and deeply seen in our work together. I create space for growth through empathy, collaboration, and clarity - while also helping clients build concrete skills, coping strategies, and communication tools that support real, sustainable change.
The clients I'm best positioned to serve
Who I’m Best Positioned to Support: Women are often expected to do it all - quietly, competently, and without complaint. Over time, this leads to anxiety, depression, resentment, burnout, and disconnection. You deserve someone in your corner - someone who helps you delegate, set boundaries, use your voice, and create relationships that feel more balanced and supportive. You don’t have to navigate life transitions alone. And you don’t have to lose yourself in the process.
Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
We work together to determine how your thoughts affect your behaviors and how to challenge or improve your self-talk to help you cope with your stressors. We also help you develop healthier habits to create the life you want.

Nasim's fantastic at meeting me where I am each time we meet. Sometimes, I need to vent, most of the times I'm looking to have a catharsis on an issue and pivot towards creating a solution. All the time, she's there to hold my hand and be my companion on the journey to wherever it is I want to go that day/conversation with the broader goal of improving my mental health. She's gives me sound foundational guidance with a warm and welcoming personality!

A really genuine and amazing therapist and person! I feel encouraged, understood, and supported as I try to navigate decades old problems and habits that don’t serve me anymore.
