New clients continue care with this provider

Reaching out for help can be difficult and the thought of seeing a therapist can seem intimidating. I believe that with the right therapist, you can express yourself freely without fear of judgment and receive the support you need and desire. No two people's journeys and life experiences are the same, so I take an individualized approach with my clients. I love helping clients build skills to manage their feelings, address their anxiety, and create sustainable routines. I specialize in adults maneuvering life challenges, exploring identity and understanding family dynamics. I am passionate about building strong communication skills and strengthening boundaries in relationships. I strive to provide a welcoming environment that will support your unique development of self-awareness, vulnerability, and growth. Together, we will identify your goals for treatment and work towards those in a collaborative process. I value feedback so I can ensure your goals and voice are at the heart of our work. I strive to develop trust between us so you feel comfortable opening up. I utilize values, humor, and compassion so we can build an authentic, therapeutic relationship to make changes. In sessions, I will often bring us back to the present moment to build awareness and identify old patterns of behaviors so we can create new habits.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

In our first session, I'm going to take the lead. There's so much for me to learn about you! We'll go over what's bringing you to therapy and your goals. We'll also talk about your day to day life and the important people in it.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

I have been working in this field for 10 years. I make sure we look at how your thoughts and feelings impact your behaviors. We'll explore helpful and unhelpful thoughts along with practicing reframing them. I like to bring your values and what's most important to you into our work. We'll also look at what's getting in the way of those things. I will always bring your strengths into the room and see how we can build upon those. I am trained in ACT and ERP which are proven treatments for anxiety, OCD, and traumatic experiences. My clinical skills include helping people with effective communication, navigating life transitions, boundary setting, self-esteem, anxiety, increasing distress tolerance, staying present, and parenting. I have specialized training in SPACE (Supportive Parenting of Anxious Childhood Emotions).

Describe the client(s) you are best positioned to serve.

I love working with young adults transitioning into the working world. My clients are working on managing their anxiety and emotions. We focus on improving assertiveness in communication and building confidence.
