In our first session together, my goal is to create a welcoming and judgment-free space where you feel safe to be yourself. We’ll take time to get to know each other and explore what brings you to therapy. I’ll ask some questions about your background, current concerns, and what you hope to gain from our work together. Of course, the first session can be daunting so please feel free to share what you are comfortable with!

A major component of my therapeutic approach is creating mind and body connections to help facilitate healthier processing and feel internal safety. I'm skilled at helping clients connect the dots between their past and present, develop healthier boundaries, and build confidence in themselves to navigate through their problems. I provide a safe space where you can truly be seen and understood which results in feeling lighter, clearer, and more empowered.

I’m best positioned to support individuals who feel overwhelmed, stuck, or disconnected. Many of my clients are highly self-aware and motivated for change but aren’t sure where to begin. I work especially well with people who want to better understand themselves, heal old emotional wounds, and develop healthier ways of coping. If you're ready to grow, gain clarity, and feel more grounded in who you are, I’m here to help guide that process with compassion and intention.

My treatment methods

Psychodynamic

I utilize evidence based interventions related to psychodynamic therapy to help clients understand how their past affects their present behaviors. They will then utilize this awareness to create changes to any dysfunctional or negative behaviors into positive ones.

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I have a certification in anxiety and utilize CBT as a way to reframe negative thought processes into functional healthy ones. I also use CBT to help clients identify triggers and process various core beliefs. I also help clients identify heir cognitive distortions.
