About Me I am a doctoral-level licensed professional counselor with over 16 years of experience in providing high-quality mental health care. Throughout my career, I have had the privilege of helping individuals navigate a wide range of challenges, including depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, trauma, and other mental health concerns. My approach is grounded in evidence-based practices, and I tailor treatment to meet your unique needs and goals. Together, we will identify the obstacles that are holding you back and work toward meaningful, lasting change.
In our first session, I provide a brief introduction of myself, and then the client has the opportunity to discuss why they are seeking therapy. After, a treatment plan is created.
My greatest strengths include being authentic, being a great listener, and great problem-solver.
I specialize in working with individuals facing depression, anxiety, phobias, relationship difficulties, life transitions, challenges with self-esteem, eating disorders, obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), and professional or career issues. I also assist with college and graduate school stress, medical and health concerns, pain management, stress management, attention deficit disorder (ADD), sexual abuse, spirituality and life purpose, gender identity support, LGBT counseling, and grief, loss, and bereavement. Let’s work together to help you navigate your challenges and create a path toward a healthier, more fulfilling life.
I have over 14 years of using CBT. it has been proven to help clients manage their mental health issues by challenging the way they think. Healthy thoughts versus unhealthy thoughts are one of the strategies I used using this treatment method.
