Hi! I'm a Licensed Marriage Family Therapist (LMFT) based in California. I received my Masters from Alliant International University, California School of Professional Psychology and have been practicing for approximately 12 years. I help young and older adults struggling with a multitude of stressors and burnout become the best versions of themselves, whatever that may look like. We all have our own story or journey as to how we evolved into who we are today. I do my best to try to view the Client's world through their eyes.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

In our first session together, we'll start with brief introductions, then dive into the specific challenges you're facing. This will help me create a tailored plan for us to work through in follow-up sessions.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

Having worked in a multitude of fields, I've developed a tried-and-true playbook for helping you (a) identify the root cause of your challenges and (b) create a tailored plan that leads to measurable progress.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

Especially after COVID, mental health issues seem to be on the rise. I love working with young and older adults who may be struggling with different phases in life. My clients are eager to improve, but don't yet have the tools needed to make this goal a reality. They often feel stuck, overwhelmed and anxious about their past, current, or future endeavors.

My treatment methods

Couples Counseling

While in Traineeship, I participated in a year's worth of facilitating a couples communication course utilizing Experiential Methods. Since then, I have also participated in couples counseling in various settings. I have had training in Gottman Method as well as some EFT.

Family Therapy

I have 5 years of training in ABFT (Attachment Based Family Therapy). Utilizing it both in outpatient and residential treatment, works best with the individual and parent/care giver identifying participation and working towards identifying and repairing ruptures.

EMDR

EMDR trained - Use this in practice as needed. Through reprocessing, target a memory that essentially "feels stuck" and would like to replace negative thoughts with positive thoughts.
