It is an honor to be able to hear your story, hold space for your pain, and guide you toward a brighter future. I promise to listen without judgment and provide a space where you feel safe and heard. I am passionate about helping adults, children, and families heal from trauma using an integrative approach with evidence-based techniques and mindfulness. I am trained in Accelerated Resolution Therapy to assist in reprocessing traumatic memories as well. Now that you've taken the first step, I look forward to meeting with you and learning more about your story! I will being taking IN-PERSON clients in AZ starting in MARCH 2025. Feel free to start your journey with me via telehealth and you will have first access to in-person sessions when they begin.
You can expect your first session to be comfortable and at your own pace. We will take our time looking over your answers to intake questions and getting an idea of your goals for therapy. There is not rush to open up quickly; building trust takes time!
My treatment approach is integrative but I primarily utilize Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART) and trauma-focused CBT interventions. I enjoy integrating mindfulness techniques into each session and welcome my clients bringing their input and creativity into sessions as well. I believe humor can be useful in session and use it often :)
I strive to be trauma-informed and multi-culturally aware in my sessions and overall practice. I specialize in working with court-mandated and justice-involved clients in addition to providing post-hospitalization therapy services.
I have a special interest in working with court-ordered clients involved in the justice system and empathize with how stressful of an experience that can be. I am committed to working with all clients regardless of gender, age, gender identity, race, health status, national origin, relationship status, sexual orientation, disability, ethnicity, socioeconomic status, and religion.

Going to therapy was so incredibly difficult for me, I was looking for someone who understood that just taking that step felt like jumping off a cliff and the first words I read on Jessica's profile were, "If you are reading this right now, I am proud of you for considering therapy." Reading that felt like a warm hug from someone who understood. I've been with her for 3 years now and I continue to feel like that with her.
