New to Grow
As a Licensed Professional Counselor, I’ve had the opportunity to work with people from many different walks of life. I often work with clients facing challenges like addiction, PTSD, anxiety, life transitions, and so on. I truly believe that change is possible for anyone who wants it. Growth starts with that first step. My role is to help you take it with clarity, compassion, and confidence.
Your first session is simply about getting to know each other. We’ll talk about what brings you in, what you hope to work on, and how I can best support you. I also want you to get a sense of who I am and how I work, so you can feel comfortable moving forward. From the very beginning, we’ll start building a space that encourages honesty, reflection, and growth toward your best self.
I take an eclectic and individualized approach to therapy. There’s no one-size-fits-all way to heal or grow. Every person’s story is unique. I draw from different therapeutic modalities depending on what fits you best.
My ideal client is someone open to growth, ready to make small or big changes. If you’re reading this, that’s already you. Whatever your goals, needs, or desires may be, I want to help you move toward them.
CBT may be used to help clients recognize and challenge unhelpful thought patterns, replacing them with more balanced and supportive ways of thinking. Sessions may include practical tools such as reframing, thought logs, or behavioral experiments.
This approach allows flexibility to draw from multiple therapeutic techniques based on what best supports each client’s unique needs, goals, and personality. It emphasizes adapting interventions rather than following a single theoretical framework.
In this approach, sessions focus on creating a warm, nonjudgmental environment where clients feel genuinely heard and accepted. The goal is to empower clients to explore their experiences and find their own path toward growth and self-understanding.
This framework ensures that sessions are grounded in safety, trust, and empowerment, recognizing how past trauma may shape current thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. It involves pacing and interventions that honor the client’s readiness and resilience.
Narrative techniques may be used to help clients externalize problems and re-author their stories in ways that emphasize strength, agency, and possibility. Clients are encouraged to separate themselves from the issue and develop new, empowering narratives about their lives.
